Seriously, they're going to have to give the
Office non-spinoff spinoff a name really soon, because this is just getting confusing. But here's the deal:
Rashida Jones has booked a role on the Amy Poehler-led new NBC comedy, which will reunite her with
The Office writers Greg Daniels and Michael Schur.
Rumors of Jones joining the spinoff
first surfaced months ago, but that was way back when we thought the show would be a direct spinoff of The Office (oh, how silly we were!).

We bet lil Archie is going to think his mama is pretty cool when he's old enough to watch the clip of her
shaking the SNL stage at the end of her pregnancy. We wonder if the 8 pound, one ounce bundle of joy inherited his parents funny bone. Congratulations to the new lil family!
TMZ reports that Amy Poehler and Will Arnett welcomed a baby boy this afternoon. We're still waiting on a name for the little one and more details. Unfortunately this means we'll be missing funny Amy on SNL tonight, but congrats to the new parents!

Everyone tuned into
Saturday Night Live to see Tiny Fey and Sarah Palin go head to head, but it was a very pregnant Amy Poehler who stole the show. The expectant mama spit out a rap sequence while bouncing around stage big belly without every missing a beat or losing her breath.
What's the most physical thing you did while pregnant?

After the
highs and lows of the
Emmys show the party really got started. For many, the first stop was the Governor's Ball like Heidi in yet another gown before the other bashes. Some were off to the ET/People bash while others went to hear Samantha Ronson spin at Kress nightclub for the TV Guide soiree.

In the latest episode of SNL, Tina Fey's Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler's Hillary Clinton were the highlight of the show for me by far. For the rest of the episode, I waited for more great political stuff, but only got some way-too-long sketch about pizza that put me to sleep. It made me wonder if the only thing the show has going for it nowadays is the
political content.

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and

What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday, I sort through the best of the batch and tell you what to add to your queue. In addition to my selections below, you can also check out Jackie Chan and Jet Li in

It's the last day of sessions here at the
TCA press tour, and it's NBC's turn to hawk its wares. Just a few minutes ago, NBC Entertainment Co-Chairman Ben Silverman took the stage to clarify a few things about
The Office spinoff (and not-spinoff), the network's plans for late night, and more. Some highlights:
