What do you get when you combine the playtime practicality of sneakers and the all-time favorite look of glittery girly shoes? Why, Glitter Chuck Taylors, of course!
They may not be as party-worthy as Suri Cruise's glittery gold flats, but sneakers are always the right choice for long walks.

My son was a Puma walker, a Van's runner and recently became an Adidas climber. Needing a bit more traction for when he climbs up the slides backwards and cushion when he drops from the monkey bars, we invested in a couple pairs of kicks that would keep him light and fast on his feet, but are also easy enough to slip on and off as we scramble from home to car to running errands. Available in indigo, rave green, lava and pink, these sneakers ($35) will have your kids on their toes.

When it comes to celebabies, no other Tinseltown lass dresses as practical as lil Violet Affleck. Like her Wonder Woman mother Jennifer Garner and Sugardaddy Ben Affleck, this tot keeps it real with her hair pulled back in a purple flower clip and sneakers to get her through the day.
The Superga Torino sneakers ($40) are sporty and easy to manage.

If Johnny Depp doesn't rule all things pirates and skulls, Angelina Jolie might. The busy mama keeps her babes outfitted in funky fashion–forward items that often involve skulls and swords – even on her darling daughters.
Shiloh Jolie–Pitt, usually dolled up in white, often sports the hip lil sneakers from Sweet Shoes ($26).

I'm about to pop which means my maternity leave is likely just days away. While I've always been a working mother, I can't wait to gain stay-at-home mom status for a few months. I've done it twice before when my daughter and son were born and loved every minute — even those that were covered in spit-up.

Little Honor Warren is turning into more of a chip off the old block than we expected! Still sporting the comfy headband that her trendy mom Jessica Alba also wears, the budding fashionista was seen taking some wobbly steps in a pair of of-the-moment skinny jeans.
The adorable toddler was en route to a music class in Beverly Hills with her nanny when photographers caught her channeling her inner hipster in the jeans, a hoodie and a pair of comfortable sneakers.

Give me an H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N! What's that spell? A couple of cheerleaders and a quarterback dressed up and ready to trick-or-treat.

Mommy Dearest,
I have a delicate situation that I'm not sure how to approach. Our nanny, whom we love, occasionally wears questionable clothing to the house. She is very professional about everything else, but her wardrobe has left me speechless lately.

The sneakers are glowing and the lunchboxes are fresh. It's time to head back to the little red school house for another year of education. Entering a new classroom promises never before seen math problems, spelling rules and lectures in science for sponge-like brains.
