Together with When We All Vote, the national nonpartisan not-for-profit focused on the responsibility of registering and voting, Michelle Obama has announced the first-ever When We All Vote Week of Action. From Sept. 22 to Sept. 29, the WWAV team will travel the US to meet with and register voters and help individuals gear up to vote in the midterm elections and beyond. In this video, Michelle Obama shares that she will attend some of the events on the ground and hopes to inspire eligible voters to host events in their own communities, encourage others to volunteer, and ask Americans to support national voter registration day on Sept. 25.

When We All Vote's cocchairs include Michelle Obama, Tom Hanks, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Janelle Monáe, Chris Paul, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw. The cochairs aim to educate about the importance of registering to vote and participating in your community.

In a follow up video released August 22nd, Michelle Obama shared a deeply personal story about watching her father, who had Multiple sclerosis, put in the effort to cast his ballot no matter the weather or his struggle with crutches. Her reminder? "You gotta vote often, and you gotta vote every election!"
