Kim Kardashian has been candid about her struggles with infertility in the past. In a recent interview with Skims, the mom of four opened up about just how grateful she is to have North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm in her life. In the video, Kim explained that, after giving birth to Saint, she had to undergo five different operations within a year and a half to fix the damage from delivering her first two children.

"I asked my doctors, 'Can I do it one more time?' and they were like, 'We won't even put an embryo in you, that would be, like, malpractice,'" Kim explained, referring to her struggles in trying to have a third child. "I am just so thankful for my beautiful kids. You know, no matter how they came to me, they came to me," she added. "I'm so thankful for surrogates, and I'm really thankful for my family . . . I would have gone through the same pain and back for the results of having my babies — it was all worth it."

In order to support other women with inspiring stories this holiday season, Skims has made a donation in Kim's honor toward The Bail Project — a nonprofit organization with the goal of posting bail for people in need and reuniting families. "It's really important to me to make sure that families are reunited and make sure that families are connected, especially this holiday season," Kim said. See the full video here to hear Kim's story.
