Disney Junior's Adorable New Short For Preschoolers Teaches Little Kids About Voting

Mickey and his Disney Junior friends want to help teach your little ones about the voting process through song and adorable animation. As part of the network's "Ready for Preschool" series — which "is designed to encourage kids age 2-7 to develop positive attitudes about themselves and as a member of a community" — this new short, "Everybody Gets a Vote," specifically focuses on voting being a fair way to choose which game the group should play together. And though the concepts are generalized, the short helps kids to understand terms like "campaign" and "ballot."

"Our series reinforces lessons for preschoolers, through song," Lori Mozilo, executive director of original programming at Disney Junior, said in a press release. "With this new short, we share why, for the greater good, every vote matters."
