Selena Gomez Basically Became Alex Russo When She Teamed Up With a TikTok Magician

Selena Gomez recently went back to her wizard roots for a fun TikTok video with internet magician Zach King. The "Rare" singer joined forces with Zach to create a quick clip, which he posted on March 13. In it, he takes on the role of makeup artist and "magically" transforms a woman into Selena herself. Oh, the power of a jump cut!

For Selena, onscreen magic is second nature. In a YouTube version of the video that includes a look behind the scenes, she tells Zach his trick actually reminds her of the days when she played Alex Russo on Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place. "I know all this stuff from being on the show," she says. Then she pulls a trick of her own!
