Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Spotted in NYC Amid Reunion Rumors

It looks like Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes's Coachella fling could be turning into a full-blown reunion. The pair were spotted on the street together on May 25 in New York City's Soho neighborhood, soaking up the sunshine during a walk. Just one day earlier, on May 24, the pair were also spotted together in New York holding hands, as seen in photos published by Elle. Their NYC reunion snaps come after they were seen embracing and seemingly getting flirty on May 3 outside the Hollywood Improv comedy club in LA, per photos obtained by The Daily Mail.

Cabello and Mendes's most recent sightings follow after sparks reportedly flew between the exes at Coachella on April 14. In a video captured by a fan at the event, the "Señorita" singers were spotted sharing a kiss as they watched a performance together at the festival in Indio, CA. Additional videos show the pair chatting together in the crowd. POPSUGAR reached out to representatives for Cabello and Mendes about their Coachella reunion but did not receive a response.

In the clips, Cabello and Mendes can be seen standing close together as the "Mercy" singer smiles. Other clips and photos from the evening show the pair laughing before wrapping their arms around each other and kissing.

Just about a week later, Cabello posted a now-deleted snippet of a song that was seemingly inspired by Mendes on Instagram on April 20. "How come you're just so much better? Is this going to end ever? I guess I'll f*ck around and find out," she sings in the clip. "Are you coming to Coachella? If you don't it's whatever. If you do, honey, it'll be all I think about."

Cabello and Mendes split in November 2021 after more than two years of dating. At the time, the couple shared a statement on Instagram stating that while they were ending their romantic relationship, they planned on remaining friends. "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever ❤️. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends," their joint statement read.

The "Bam Bam" singer moved on with Lox Club CEO Austin Kevitch in June 2022 but they split in February, according to People. Meanwhile, Mendes was rumored to be dating Sabrina Carpenter in March but he reportedly shut the speculation down during an appearance on the Dutch television show "RTL Boulevard." "We are not dating," he said in the interview.

As for his relationship with Cabello, Mendes has maintained that he will always have love for the Grammy nominee. In 2022, he told Ryan Seacrest, "[We're] so friendly. I mean, I loved Camila first for so many years, and that's never gonna change."

While there's no confirmation that the couple are officially an item again, Mendes seemingly wasn't lying when he said he'd always love Cabello.
