It's time to think out of the lunch box! When it comes to edible classics, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a staple in most children's diets. Though the flavors vary, parents usually lather the nut paste on one slice of bread, spread a sweet fruit jam on another, and then slice the sandwich in half for their kiddo to take to school. Since classes are back in session, we wanted to give moms options to mix up the same old lunches. We asked chef Catherine McCord, founder of Weelicious and mother of two, to reinvent PB&J five different kid-friendly ways. Check out her delicious options that are quick to prepare and bound to become household favorites!
Lil's new mouthwatering Out of the Lunch Box feature continues in September with celebrity chefs and restaurateurs creating their ultimate sandwiches for elementary school kids. We can't wait to serve up all the amazing recipes!
