Kate Gosselin Says "6 Is Just a Big Baby" Do You Agree?

Last night on Kate Plus 8, the mom of multiples talked about her sextuplets turning 6.

Last night on Kate Plus 8, the mom of multiples talked about her sextuplets turning 6. The Gosselins have long referred to their twins, Mady and Cara as the big girls and Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Leah, as the little kids. Kate wondered aloud when her youngest children will be considered just "kids" and quickly decided "6 is just a big baby — right?"

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Are Open to Family Expansion

Michelle Duggar may awe fellow moms by raising 19 children, but this Sunday will be a bittersweet holiday for the mother because her baby is back in the hospital.

Michelle Duggar may awe fellow moms by raising 19 children, but this Sunday will be a bittersweet holiday for the mother because her baby is back in the hospital. Dealing with the ups and downs of having a preemie (little Josie was born at 25 weeks gestation) has not rattled the Duggars' faith or family plans. In a recent interview with Radar Online, the large family's matriarch said she and her husband are open to growing their brood biologically or, possibly, by adoption. Here are the highlights:

  • On Josie's progress: "She is up to 5 pounds 15 ounces. She’s just taken off with her weight gain these last couple weeks now that she’s back at the hospital and so we’re really thankful for that."
  • On her faith being strengthened by Josie's arrival: "We had no where else to turn. There was nothing else I could do to help Josie other than prayer. I could cry out to God and cry out for mercy. Nothing is by accident and he allowed Josie to be born that day and we know that God has a special purpose for Josie."

LilSugar Exclusive! The Duggars' Mother's Day Episode

When the littlest Duggar made her way home from the hospital for the first time, it was an emotional event for her 18 older brothers and sisters.

When the littlest Duggar made her way home from the hospital for the first time, it was an emotional event for her 18 older brothers and sisters. Though parenting is nothing new for Jim Bob and Michelle, tending to a preemie is an altogether different experience. Josie Brooklyn weighed just one pound and six ounces when she was born at 25 weeks gestation on December 10, 2009, and left the hospital months later. She has since been readmitted, but Sunday's sweet episode of The Duggars: 19 Kids and Counting shows the family under one roof for the very first time. Will you tune this Sunday at 8/7 (central) on TLC?

Get Your Gosselin Fix Again on TLC!

If Oprah is every woman, is Kate Gosselin every mother?

If Oprah is every woman, is Kate Gosselin every mother? When it comes to the small screen, the 34-year-old mother of multiples has well extended her family's fifteen minutes of fame despite her split from husband, Jon. According to People, she has deals for a set of specials and a new series to air on TLC. Kate Plus 8 will be a similar concept to the beloved Jon and Kate Plus 8, but run periodically and showcase Kate as a single mom. Twist of Kate is her new series that will focus on women in challenging situations. Are you excited to watch the Gosselin kids (Cara, Mady, Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel) in action again? Are you more interested in how Kate's life has changed? Or do you think the outspoken mom has been overexposed?

Nola Chef John Besh Will Soon Light Up the Small Screen

New Orleans chef John Besh has just been nominated for James Beard and IACP cookbook awards, but the Southern food authority doesn't plan to stop there.

New Orleans chef John Besh has just been nominated for James Beard and IACP cookbook awards, but the Southern food authority doesn't plan to stop there. In fact, he's making a leap from tomes to TV.

The restaurateur and former Next Iron Chef contestant told the Times-Picayune that he's gearing up for two national TV shows. The first, Inedible to Incredible, has already been shot and premieres June 14 on TLC. "I basically come in and say, 'This recipe is a problem, and I'm here to help,'" Besh says of the new program.

The My New Orleans author is also filming a new series by the same name in his hometown this week. My New Orleans will debut next year on PBS.

I'm not a huge follower of John Besh, but I'm curious to see how well he'll fare with not one, but two shows. Will you tune in to watch the Southern chef on the small screen?

Josie Duggar Is Home From the Hospital!

Miracle baby Josie Duggar was released from the hospital today!

Miracle baby Josie Duggar was released from the hospital today! The preemie, who was born at just 25 weeks gestation back in December, is now almost four months old and weighs 4 lbs. 9 oz. Her proud parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, are excited to have the wee one bond with her 18 older siblings. Jim Bob said:

Michelle and I are very happy to report that little Josie is being released from the hospital today. And while we have plenty of practice bringing babies home, this time is very different. To be on the safe side, we’ll stay nearby in Little Rock for the short term, with the entire family returning home to Springdale in the near future. We are deeply grateful to the staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. And as always, thank you for the continued prayers and support.

Celebrity Chef Art Smith Scores New TLC Show

NBC and Fox aren't the only channels trying to nab a piece of the cooking show pie.

NBC and Fox aren't the only channels trying to nab a piece of the cooking show pie. So is cable channel TLC. Not only does the lifestyle network boast new programming like Cake Boss and the soon-to-air BBQ Pitmasters, but the channel has just ordered eight episodes of a new 30-minute series, Craving Comfort, starring celebrity chef Art Smith.

Rather than demoing dishes in the traditional cooking show sense, Smith will travel the country in search of America's most satisfying eats. Each show will focus on one particular comfort food, such as fried chicken or apple pie. Craving Comfort will debut in late 2010.

Smith, who owns Table Fifty-Two and was Oprah Winfrey's personal chef for a decade, recently starred in the Bravo series Top Chef Masters. I think David Chang is right in saying that comfort foods will be big in 2010, and that this show will take off. Are you a big enough fan of Art Smith to tune in?

Have You Ever Kept a Health Problem Secret Like TLC's T-Boz

Tionne Watkins is better known to most as T-Boz, and a member of the former girl group TLC.

Tionne Watkins is better known to most as T-Boz, and a member of the former girl group TLC. Watkins has been extremely open about the fact that she lives with sickle cell anemia, but I was shocked to hear that she secretly battled a deadly brain tumor that led to a risky surgery.

Watkins discovered the grapefruit-size tumor in 2006 and faced the frustrating challenge of trying to find a doctor who would operate on her. Most doctors refused because of the complications her sickle cell anemia posed, namely lung and heart failure. The tumor was not cancerous, but it was tied to the vestibular nerve which affects balance, facial movements, and hearing.

To learn more about her condition, keep reading.
