After nine long months of waiting to meet baby, the idea of giving birth and then sending the bundle of joy to the nursery may be torture to new parents. I couldn't bear to bid my daughter or son goodbye so soon and don't plan on letting baby number three out of my sight either. Almost every mama I know feels the same way and kept their wee ones in the room with them.

Expectant ladies often ask their tried and tested mama friends for a list of must-have items for their newborn's nursery. When a much anticipated baby makes his or her debut, don't forget to include their older sibling or siblings in the celebration! Including first time big sisters and brothers is especially important as they may not be used to sharing the spotlight. If you plan on bringing a gift for the new bundle of joy, consider the thoughtful gesture of also giving a lil something to the other tots.

Once you're a parent, you never get the same quality of sleep again. Well, maybe when the kids move out. Whether you are up feeding an infant or keeping your ears open for signs of a restless tot, you've kissed your hours of deep shut eye good bye.
