One of the things that always stalls me in writing thank you notes is having the appropriate stationery. I used to keep a stash of monogrammed notes, but since baby came along, I find myself running out to buy kiddie notes.
Now I have a great solution for both of us.

Today is International Thank You Day. While thank you notes are the most common way for people to formally communicate thanks, busy moms sometimes have a hard time accomplishing the task — especially when they are writing for their entire brood.
So opt for an acceptable alternative and call the person to whom you are grateful.

I'm a 25-year-old woman who has worked for an insurance company for the past two years as a junior account manager. Before that, I worked as an administrative assistant for a short period and received my degree in history from a well-known university. My reviews at the insurance company have all been good, I work hard and I expect to be promoted in the near future.

Timothy Geithner, the man who wants to spend trillions of dollars in taxpayer money as the next US Treasury Secretary, forgot to pay his own taxes. No, it didn't just slip his mind one year when he was living under a rock leading up to April 15 — from 2001 to 2004 Geithner failed to pay $34,000 in taxes while working abroad for the International Monetary Fund.
Thanks to Obama's transition team's super detective work, Geithner realized his mistake and apparently paid the years-late taxes days before Obama publicly tapped him for the job.

I don't mean to be materialistic, but one of the best things about traveling is the shopping! I love returning from a vacation with home goods or clothing that no one else has, that makes people say, "Where did you get that?" OK, I guess that's superficial.

Ectopic Pregnancy
An ectopic pregnancy occurs when the fertilized egg implants in some part of the body other than the uterus. In 95% of all ectopic pregnancies, the egg is implanted in one of the fallopian tubes. In rare cases, these types of pregnancies occur in the ovaries, the abdomen, and in the lower portion of the uterus (cervix).

This year, award-winning Chef Roy Yamaguchi is celebrating 20 years of Roy's, his eponymous high-end restaurant chain. He's throwing himself a big party and is celebrating at his restaurants around the globe. I recently had a chance to talk with him, and he was such a delight!
