Crooner Harry Connick, Jr. and his daughters, Georgia, 11 and Sarah, 10 caught some hoops over the weekend.
The trio attended the NBA All-Star Saturday Night at the New Orleans Arena. Dressed casually in denim, leggings and tees, the fresh faced brunette beauties look just as much like their handsome actor dad as they do their model mum, Jill Goodacre.

Crooner Harry Connick Jr. epitomized a proud papa yesterday on The Today Show when his daughter, Kate, belted out a holiday tune. The duet took the stage to perform, "Winter Wonderland" and the 11-year-old held her own as her daddy smiled on. Perhaps the young lady will follow in father's toe tappin' footsteps.

It was midnight when celebs including JLS, Westlife, Mel B, Harry Connick Jr and Keisha Buchanan walked the red carpet for the This Is It premiere in London's Leicester Square. The Jacksons attended the LA premiere, but there were simultaneous screenings in eighteen other cities, including the capital! The film is made up of footage from the rehearsals of the tour Michael Jackson was preparing for before he suddenly died, although it's causing controversy with some fans who believe that his ill health was edited out.

In December 2005, three months after Hurricane Katrina, Harry Connick Jr. and Branford Marsalis, both musical forces in New Orleans, along with Habitat for Humanity, announced plans to build Musicians' Village, a neighborhood of the Upper Ninth Ward centered around the Ellis Marsalis Center For Music for displaced local musicians and other qualifying homeowner families.
Musicians' Village is intended to both preserve the city's musical culture, and foster the education of its residents. Now, two years later, 70 single-family homes are either under construction, or have been built on 8.1 vacant acres, which the New Orleans Area Habitat For Humanity purchased in early 2006.

Radio City Music Hall was bursting with stars of the stage last night at the 2008 Tony Awards. The glitz and glamour were everywhere as some of the biggest names in Broadway came together to celebrate each other. Mary-Louise Parker was a highlight as usual, though I'm not sure what to say about the Counting Crows' Adam Duritz on her arm.

The hot guys (ugh, other than the mustache) stole the show at last night's premiere of P.S. I Love You in LA. It seems like Gerard Butler and Jeffrey Dean Morgan were pretty into each other, too, judging from the red-carpet game of grab ass (love it).

Okay, so that rhyme is a bit of a stretch, but Renée Zellweger does deserve some props for braving the freezing cold temperatures filming her new movie, Chilled in Miami, in Manitoba, Canada yesterday. While Renée gets a pretty cute costar in Harry Connick Jr. for this film, nothing quite compares to her Leatherheads duo of George Clooney and John Krasinski. Not too much longer to wait for that one, finally — April is just around the corner.
