Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. Creativity and dress up allow you to be someone else for just a little while. Many parents use the spooky holiday as an excuse to dress the whole family up in one guise. I'm not sure how I feel about that concept. Perhaps being pregnant is a blessing in, errr, disguise! Would I rather be sitting at home doling out candy on my comfy couch or matching myself up to accompany a wee Dorothy by suiting up as the Wicked Witch of the West and piling recycled foil on my husband for a reprise of the Tin Man?

Mark Wahlberg and his lil man, Michael, were out and about in Bel Air. The duo is clearly fans of family dressing. Decked out in white shirts, neutral shorts and Adidas kicks, the father and son were two of a kind.

The two-year-old's mother is model Rhea Durham who has also given birth to his older sister, Ella Rae, 5, and is currently expecting the fifth member of Marky Mark's funky bunch, another boy, who is set to debut this month. While flipping through pictures of my daughter as a newborn, I was shocked to find so many of me wearing pastels while cradling my babe. Prior to her birth, I was big on black and jewel toned clothing, but I guess outfitting her in soft hues had me subconsciously thinking pink. Last night on Jon & Kate Plus 8, Jon and Kate explained that they outfit their twins and sextuplets in bright colors when going on outings to help keep track of them. I met a woman at the playground who told me she dresses in the same colors as her children so she can remember what they are wearing. Do you use a similar tactic to keep track of your tots?
