Most parents use their buggies for the practical purpose of pushing baby, but some moms and dads view strollers as a status symbol and there are plenty of swank versions that play into that desire. How do the rich and famous roll? Just like the rest of us parents pushing prams and strollers around town while their wee ones relax! Though their rides might be on the pricier side and have a few more bells and whistles.

If labels make you happy, but prices let you down, the Bugaboo Bee may be an option you can't resist. Celebs like Matthew McConaughey, Gwen Stefani and Dave Grohl probably didn't bat an eye at the $530 price tag, but it's a luxury many of us can't afford. The attractive pushchair does have a fair number of sleek features that many parents find worth the investment.

There's always an excuse to get out of exercising — especially when there's a new baby in tow. The Dutch, who take their bicycle riding rather seriously (check out their balance bikes) and are known for their innovative stroller design (think about the Bugaboo), are at it again with the Taga — a combination high-end stroller and bicycle. Though the Taga has yet to make its American debut, we wonder if it will be a hit when it gets here.

Whether you got a shiny new iPhone for Christmas and need to break your contract, or you think you want to upgrade your cell phone service in 2009 you should check in with your carrier about their early-termination fees, the status of your contact, and any deals they might be running for the new year. (Honestly, I hope you checked the tiny print before you signed that dotted line!)
Consumer Reports notes one in seven survey respondents said "they were seriously considering a switch to a better carrier but were discouraged from doing so by penalties that can run as high as $200 per phone line." As we all know, termination fees can be a real bugaboo.
