Quick breakfast can be more than a slice of toast. I'm not a fan of spray foods and tend to make most of my kids' food from scratch and with organic ingredients. But weekday mornings at my house are sheer madness.

A little while back, YumSugar tasted and reviewed Batter Blaster, the pancake batter in a bottle. While she used the squirt-able batter to make surprisingly good-tasting pancakes, our friends at Grocery Eats recently used their batter blaster to make deep-fried pancakes. At first glance, these crispy pancakes look like delicious funnel cakes.

I was perusing the dairy section of my local Whole Foods Market when something caught my eye. There, on the top shelf, glinting like a jewel, was Organic Batter Blaster. At first I thought, WHAT???

I just recently came across a "fantastic" new product called Batter Blaster. Instead of whipping up your own pancake batter, or even using the just add water kind, you just shake, point, blast and cook. I don't know about you guys, but I think this is a bit ridiculous.

If the thought of pancakes made with Batter Blaster has you frightened, then turn your thoughts to a much healthier version. TeamSugar member Country Betty recently shared her recipe for Buckwheat Pumpkin Cinnamon Pancakes. Made with all natural buckwheat flour and splenda (you could use real sugar if desired), these pancakes look absolutely delish!
