Children dream of going to the wonderful world of Disney to meet their heroes, wear mouse ears, ride the Dumbo ride, and eat cotton candy. And, most parents love taking their kids to Disney to fulfill those childhood fantasies while relaxing a little bit themselves. Apparently, some adults, in the midst of all things Disney, will be able to relax kid free according to a Tampa Bay news report.

I while away many weekends at the Victoria and Albert Museum (pictured below) in London indulging my inner fashion geek. They rarely have a major exhibition that I miss (most recently I visited the Stephen Jones Anthology) and they have great evening events too. Do you spend time checking out fashion exhibitions?

London's Victoria & Albert Museum is currently displaying New York fashion from greats like Zac Posen (dress pictured), Derek Lam, Behnaz Sarafpour and Proenza Schouler; and though many of us won't be able to see their designs in person, we can still see them through pics! Next month a pair of stockings that belonged to Queen Victoria will be auctioned off to anyone who has at least $600. Though you'll probably need a lot more than that, considering a pair of her bloomers sold for $5,000 in July 2008.
A specialist from the auction house made sure to up the stockings' cache by saying, "I was immediately reminded of a scene in the film The Young Victoria, where Prince Albert knelt at Queen Victoria's feet and rolled her silk stockings up her legs."

Stephen Jones is one of the most celebrated milliners of the modern age and has designed headwear for many of the major fashion houses including John Galliano, Giles Deacon, Gareth Pugh and Comme des Garcons.

When it comes to period films that involve corsets and longing romantic looks, Keira Knightley is usually, er, queen. But in The Young Victoria she gets some stiff competition from Emily Blunt as a teenage version of the 19th century royal.
Blunt is already up for a Golden Globe for her performance in the film, and it's easy to see why.

Top television presenters Gok Wan and Alan Carr showed up to a publishing party at the V&A in London yesterday on the hottest day of the year so far. The capital was absolutely sweltering yesterday and slightly sunburned Alan looks like he's feeling the heat a little in that suit. Gok managed to look cool in his shades as he arrived, swapping them for his Alan-alike glasses for the photographers.
