February's a Month For Lovers and Cheaters

Noel Biderman, the owner of an online dating site that finds matches for adulterers, admits that he sees a membership spike in February. Luckily, February is a short month.

Perhaps surprisingly, the increase in straying spouses comes in the form of new female members (although 70 percent of total users are men). Noel suspects that disappointing Valentine's Day experiences are to blame. Still, he maintains it's not all depressing out there in the virtual world of cheating husbands and lonely wives. Noel says his service can actually save marriages. "Infidelity ends up being a catalyst to probably improving and changing, so it's not this end all and be all." Whatever you say.

Wedding Day Blues

I spent Valentine's Day at a wedding. While I think V-day weddings are cheesy and totally over the top, that isn't what bugged me about this particular wedding. It's that it was on a Sunday. Considering I had to drive three hours to attend this wedding, the fact that the wedding was on a Sunday was a little inconvenient.

An early evening wedding on a Sunday. To me it just isn't polite to your guests. I know your wedding day is supposed to be all about you and your commitment to your groom and all, but sometimes you have to take into consideration the fact that some people might have to travel for your wedding. (And before you say I didn't have to go to the wedding, I kind of did. It was family.)

Now, I know certain cultures have traditions, that you have to get married on certain days. I get that. But if you don't, then to me, Friday or Saturday is a good day to have a wedding. Preferably Saturday. It's just easier on guests and possible wedding party members that will need to travel, especially when you are letting your guest know only three weeks in advance. (Another issue I had with this wedding, but I'll only tackle one thing at a time.) Plus every wedding I've ever been to has been on a Saturday, because it's just easier on everyone involved.

So what do you think? Is it inconsiderate to have a wedding (that doesn't have to adhere to cultural traditions) on any day other than a Friday or Saturday?

Their costar Michael Douglas apparently unsuccessfully advised them against getting romantic, saying in a recent interview, "I warned them, 'Don't ever do that.' But they are an item and they are having a great time."

Having enjoyed a shirtless holiday with birthday girl Jennifer Aniston just last week, Gerard was spotted flirting with actress Rita Guedes at the party last night, as he bared his man clevage in an undone shirt. It certainly looks like he found a fun way to spend Valentine's Day! In honour of the most romantic day of the year, Gerard also raffled a date to help raise money for charity. The majority of you guys think Gerry and Jennifer are just friends, but could he be trying to make Jen jealous?
