If you choose your hiking boots carefully, you can wear the same pair for years. But tracking down the perfect pair is easier said than done. I recently purchased a new pair of hikers, and they seem promising; I'll know after I break them in!

It's hard to believe that one of the most popular infant car seats that was rated Consumer Report's Best Buy, has announced a voluntary recall of its Graco 2007 Stand Alone Infant Snug Ride ($69–$89). According to their site: "Graco has determined that the backing of the seat pad on certain stand-alone SnugRide infant car seats manufactured in the United States, may be prone to deterioration or tearing, especially after washing. It was only a matter of time before The Snuggie and the Sham Wow mated to become the vestment/absorbent towel of choice for couch potatoes everywhere! Why get up to grab a paper towel because you just spilled beer or nacho cheese sauce all over your Snuggie when you can just wipe up your mess with your blanket/towel/cult member's robe? I would draw the line at taking bathroom breaks from the comfort of your couch, though.

Cheryl Cole looked cosy in her bright coat as she made her way to a hotel in central London today, following the duffle coat casual style of Lily Allen and Britney Spears. Glam as she is though, Cheryl also wore PVC leggings (see FabUK's trend alert) under her wintery coat, which she manages to pull off on her slim frame, although some think she has got a little too skinny this year. Cheryl also appeared with her bandmates on Fiona Phillips' last GMTV this morning, as she gets back to her day job with Girls Aloud.

We all do what we can to prevent injuries, but if you're an active person, sometimes you can't avoid it. Chronic back and knee pain are the most common ailments. If you've seen a doctor or physical therapist, they probably recommended you ice your boo-boo regularly.
