Kate Hudson and Ryder had their arms full of festive supplies during a walk in New Orleans on Saturday. Mardi Gras doesn't actually start until next week, but the city got to start celebrating early thanks to their historic Super Bowl win yesterday! While Kate and Ryder were in Saints' territory, her ex Alex Rodriguez was in Miami for the big game where he was spotted getting cozy with Cameron Diaz at a pre-party on Friday. Kate's former Yankee fling already feels like forever ago as she's been a solo award season attendee and we see her getting acquainted in the Louisiana city

Kate and Ryder Join the Rest of the Family and Elle in Aspen

Kate Hudson and her son Ryder hopped on a private jet yesterday and headed to Aspen where they met up with the rest of the family for their annual holiday vacation. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were also spotted in the Winter wonderland, though they were in LA over the weekend to attend Kate's star-studded and festive party. Oliver Hudson spent the afternoon around town yesterday with his pregnant wife Erin - they're expecting baby number two soon. It wasn't all about family time, however, since Kate also met up with Elle Macpherson for shopping. Ryder tried out his skiing skills on the mountain last Christmas so perhaps we'll get to see how he's doing with another year under his belt. The Hawn-Hudson-Russell family always spends the holiday together in Colorado and despite all the time they spent together during the baseball playoffs we don't expect to see Alex Rodriguez getting in on the fun. Goldie and Kurt are said to be helping Kate get over A-Rod, and nothing helps that out like a little getaway with loved ones and friends.

Kate's in Great Shape and Doesn't Care Who Knows It

Kate Hudson was wrapped up in another item from her cozy coat collection on Friday as she headed out to run errands with her son Ryder in NYC. They're home on the East Coast ahead of her big Nine premiere tomorrow, after Kate had to miss out on the LA screening due to some press obligations like an appearance on The Late Show. She had to be in great shape to perform the dance routines required by her character in the film, but Kate isn't letting all her hard work go to waste - she spent yesterday afternoon working up a sweat at her gym in SoHo, shaking her thing in front of a big window for all to see. Her star-studded movie is already doing well this award season - it tied with Inglourious Basterds for a record-setting 10 nods each from the Critics' Choice Awards, and we'll see what happens tomorrow when the Golden Globe nominees are out.

The duo was slightly more bundled up for this outing after looking summery on the streets for the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. Kate's back in the states after taking her Nine press tour to London, where she and Alex Rodriguez fit in some shopping before she hit the red carpet for the English premiere with her costars. The girls are set to reunite again next week for a screening in the Big Apple on December 15.

Kate Hudson Brings Her Bright Smile and Honesty to Harper's

Kate Hudson flashes a gorgeous smile on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's January issue. In an interview with the magazine, she gushes over her special bond with Ryder as well as Alex Rodriguez. Kate goes on to talk about pregnancy rumors, her relationship with ex Chris Robinson, and her role in Nine. We saw her posing for these photos just a few months ago, and the end results look fantastic. Here are the highlights:

Kate on pregnancy rumors: "I'm not pregnant . . . I can't go two months without being pregnant, engaged, or breaking up because I'm too needy, which is always the one they love. I'm not needy. You kind of have to laugh it off, but it can kind of screw up other things around it."
On plans to create her own clothing line: "At heart, I'm such a hippie . . . I don't like structured things. I'll put on a tight, sexy little thing that I can't walk in, and that's fun. But I like the flowy and comfortable. I just want to make really beautiful clothes that I want to put on every day."
Kate on her parenting techniques: "I'm a pretty strict mom, which is funny," she continues. "I didn't think I'd be so strict. I feel like he is so great, he's such a good kid, people really connect with him, they want to give him things and do things for him, and I'm like, no. The next thing you know, you have the kid who's being cute in order to get something."

Kate on plastic surgery: "If I need to go under the knife . . . I'm the first one to say I should. But nowadays when you go into a dermatologist's office, they have so many things. What else are they going to come up with? We're gonna end up going into a tank one day and coming out with, like, the perfect face."
On taking on singing and dancing for Nine: "My parents always said, 'You came out singing and dancing.' I would take any microphone. I was always talking to myself in mirrors, dancing in mirrors."

Despite Kate's hectic schedule promoting Nine, she's had lots of time to spend with her son during their trip to California. Alex Rodriguez, though, was the guy by Kate's side on Sunday at the American Music Awards. The duo was joined by Fergie and Nicole Kidman, two of Kate's costars in the film. Kate's silver dress attracted a fair share of attention at the awards, but it's her glitzy jewels stealing the show in Nine.

Kate Hudson and Ryder brought some friends along for lunch in Brentwood today. The actress arrived back home in LA after a trip to NYC to do promotion for Nine as well as a stop by Oprah to chat about the star-studded movie. Kate revealed that her 6-year-old son had a bit of a thing for beautiful Penelope Cruz, and though he may be too young to watch mom and all her female costars up on the big screen, he can still enjoy Kate's singing during the bedtime bonding she loves so much.

Kate Hudson was decked out in another white dress - this one more skin baring and sexy, less ready to walk down the aisle - at her photo shoot in NYC today. Ryder tagged along for the day, and even got suited up in an adorable tie to pose with his mom for a few shots which she checked out between takes. Ryder also joined Kate in a Vogue spread back in 2007, so at this point he's just building his modeling portfolio. Alex Rodriguez has showed some staying power in Kate's life this year, but at the end of the day, Ryder is always her main man.

Kate and A-Rod Show Their Love With Real Estate
