Late Kate Steals Limelight at Leah Wood's Wedding

Kate Moss managed to steal the show at Leah Wood's wedding by reportedly arriving ten minutes after the bride - certainly not good wedding etiquette. Leah, daughter of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, married her long term love Jack Macdonald at London's Southwark Cathedral on Saturday in a pre-Raphaelite inspired gown with a 6ft train. Guests, including Melanie Blatt, Keith Richards, Cilla Black and Paul O'Grady, and Jerry Hall, were treated to a Midsummer Night's Dream themed reception at the Woods' mansion in Kingston, Surrey. I wonder if Lila Grace got to stay up late with Mum Kate and Jamie Hince? Kate looked flawless as usual; our girl Bella UK has the lowdown on how to get Kate's look.

Shine a Light: Long Live the Rock Doc

When I realized that Martin Scorsese's new rock doc Shine a Light chronicles two Stones concerts from 2006, I was slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong: I devour rock documentaries (Scorsese's The Last Waltz is one of my faves), and I love me some Rolling Stones. But I've never had much interest in seeing the band live in its modern incarnation (or in paying the high-ticket price for a stadium show). But Shine a Light makes me realize I was sorely mistaken. The modern-day Stones are well worth seeing live, and after screening this movie in its full IMAX glory, I feel like I have.

With camera work conducted by a team of Oscar winners, Shine a Light covers two nights of benefit shows at New York's Beacon Theatre. Like its concert-film forebears (Woodstock, Rattle and Hum), Scorsese's two-plus-hour odyssey is comprised mostly of performance footage. The concert, like the Stones' career, careens through different phases, from flashy hip-shaking numbers to pedal-steel-infused country tunes. The set list is mostly stellar, though oddly, there is no footage of the Stones performing the namesake tune. Seeing the legends up close, you realize how much the Stones truly love what they do, and the archival footage suggests a common theme: From the beginning, the most commonly asked question of the band was, how long do you think you'll do this? The impossibly spry Mick Jagger, who somehow still has the figure of a 25-year-old hipster, continues to prove his doubters foolhardy.

Unlike The Last Waltz, which is a movie about a concert and a band, Shine a Light is merely a film of a concert. Aside from some bland footage of Scorsese and the Stones setting up, there's very little behind-the-scenes access. And while The Last Waltz stood out for its cameos - a parade of legendary performers who influenced The Band - this documentary tepidly imitates that trope. Buddy Guy adds to the entertainment, but Christina Aguilera and Jack White don't even look like they think they deserve to be there.

But as a chronicle of a concert, the movie succeeds, particularly when capturing quiet moments you'd miss as an audience member: a flirtation between Jagger and his backup singer, a lingering, pensive shot of Guy resting between beats, and the Pirates of the Caribbean brooch on Keith Richards' lapel. Honestly, seeing this movie on an IMAX screen with a stellar sound system was so much like the real thing that I occasionally had to glance around to make sure it wasn't the movie audience roaring with applause. Shine a Light is the closest I'll ever come to seeing an intimate Stones concert, and thankfully, it's all I'll need.

When I learned from my pal, BuzzSugar, about the new Martin Scorsese documentary Shine a Light (opening today), I knew I had to share fun Rolling Stones-themed pet gear right now! While we've definitely been getting North in on the rocker pet trend, why not let him share music (I think) he likes listening to. While some of the items are right up his alley – like hoodies for early morning breaks – I can't exactly see him in coveralls . . . or overalls. But the trademark tongue logo does resemble him after a hilly walk, so check out all the gear when you read more.

Fabcon: Anita Pallenberg

Oh, what I would give to travel back to the '60s and be a fly on the wall when Anita Pallenberg, once common-law wife of Rolling Stones' Keith Richards, ruled the rock 'n roll scene. It was a largely male-dominated industry, yet Anita had a unique musical influence over the band.

Born on January 25, 1946 in Rome, Italy, Anita was a model, actress, and has more recently become a fashion designer. But nothing makes her more well-known than her non-musical connection to the Stones. Besides having three children with Keith, Anita was romantically involved with band member Brian Jones, and also rumored to have hooked up with Mick Jagger. Given Anita's wild ways, I wouldn't be surprised.

While Anita's partying ways are intriguing, I'm more drawn to her unfussy boho style. Before the Siennas and the Kates (she's actually friends with Kate), Anita epitomized the hippie-chic style. Everything we wear now, she's already worn: stacked bangles, fur coats, gladiator sandals, wide belts . . . Because of her sass, courage, and style, she carved herself a place in the world. And what a rockin' place!

Stars Shine At Stones' Film Showing

London's Leicester Square was a madhouse last night due to the UK premiere of the new Rolling Stones / Martin Scorsese documentary Shine A Light. Martin didn't make it across the pond to attend, but lots of stars showed up to hang out with the legends, including Rob Brydon, Jaime Winstone, Alexa Chung (love her bag!) and Noel Fielding. The sight of the Stones even caused Liam Gallagher to make an appearance on the red carpet alongside a couple of his bandmates and wife Nicole.

Jennifer's Night With The Rolling Stones

Every new mother deserves a little R and R, right? Usually, though, that stands for something a little calmer than rock and roll, which was what new Mum Jennifer Lopez was surrounded by last night. She and her hubby attended the premiere of the new Rolling Stones / Martin Scorsese documentary film Shine A Light in New York.

After the debut of her baby twins in People magazine, I'm guessing Jennifer just wanted a fab night out with her husband and other adults, and who better to spend time with than rock royalty? I can't wait to see this film, the combined greatness of the band and Martin is almost too much to comprehend! The movie is out in the UK on April 11th, and no doubt we'll see more of those Stones this week, as the film premieres in the UK on April 2nd.

While everybody else showed up to the In Style Magazine and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Toronto International Film Festival Party in their best duds, Jessica Alba came in jeans and a t-shirt. The actress is super hip in her Rolling Stones tee and leather jacket. True, the rocker look has been killed to death in Hollywood, but Jessica looks surprisingly fresh. I think she's found her forte - edgy-cum-girly!
