Have yourself a merry lil Christmas without putting "Jingle Bells" on heavy rotation on the stereo. For everyone who wants to fill their homes with a little joy for their bundle of joy this time of the year there is Rockabye Baby: Christmas Rock Classics ($11). I'm already a big fan of the Rockabye Baby series, so I knew the holiday album would fit nicely in our family music collection.

Welcome back, folks, to my Buzz Gift Guide series for all the entertainment lovers in your life. Last week I tackled the adults in the family, and today I'm focusing on the budding pop culture nuts in your life.
I'll admit, I would have killed for these gifts as a kid, and I'd probably treasure them as an adult were I to receive them (what can I say?

We’ve all heard rumors that the music of Mozart and Bach helps stimulate a baby's brain. And sometimes waltzing to Requiem does help send baby to sleep. But, it's also a good time to introduce baby to some good ole' rock n' roll.

A controversial entertainer who certainly had some quirks, Michael Jackson was a superstar who will be sorely missed by millions. John Mayer may have said it best when he twittered: I think we'll mourn his loss as well as the loss of ourselves as children listening to Thriller on the record player. Dazed in the studio.

lilsugar is celebrating mamas-to-be all month with extensive baby shower coverage that will help you plan awwwww-inducing, unique, socially relevant and hip fetes. This week, we are planning an heirloom themed party that takes the phrase "something borrowed, something blue (or pink!) and something new" from marriage to the baby carriage. All our Sugar sites are bringing you gift ideas for newborn and toddler girls, so I've selected a few entertainment purchases that will be perfect for the little girls in your life!
First off we've got a cute as a button Sesame Street Cookie Monster cuddly toy that won't be left alone on Christmas day, there's also a similar Elmo one, if the high pitched red puppet would fall in more favour!
Bright colourful books are the order of the day, and there's nothing like the classic Mr Men and Little Miss set by Roger Hargreaves to spark her imagination as you read them.

All our Sugar sites are bringing you gift ideas for mums to be today, so I've selected a few entertainment purchases that could be fun from pregnancy to birth, as well as some electronics to record it all on!
First off we've got a Filp Mino video camera to record the fun moments like painting the nursery and singing to her baby bump, a Samsung digital camera to snap the memories too, as well as an external hard drive to store the many, many memories safely.
She'll be wanting to sit back and put her feet up, and what's better than the Sex And The City movie for a little girlie escapism, I'd also recommend the TV series Gilmore Girls which focuses on a fast-talking, pop culture referencing mother and daughter based in a small American town.

We've dedicated the entire month of April to planning showers of all kinds, but if you've been nominated (or volunteered) to plan a baby shower for a friend or relative you should start with the basics.
Once you've picked your venue, theme and invites it's time to move onto the really fun part.
The small details like menu, music and party favors are often what make a great party wonderful and allow you to pay homage to the mommy-to-be's taste and personality.
