Mommy Dearest: Rude to Tell That You Returned Gift?
Mommy Dearest,
I sent my godson a scooter for his birthday and just received a thank-you note saying that he returned the present because he preferred something else. I don't mind that he exchanged the gift since I just guessed that the ride on was something a nine-year-old would like, but I thought mentioning it in the note was rather rude. We live in different states and I never would have known had he not told me.

They're baaaaack! This week on Grey's Anatomy, Meredith, and Izzie make their returns to Seattle Grace/Mercy West, though only Mere is back in scrubs. Izzie heads back to the hospital with her favorite high-school teacher in tow, a sweet guy who's suffering from what appears to be dementia and is constantly referring to Izzie as a pregnant teen.

Katie Price enjoyed a pub lunch with Alex Reid in Brighton on Friday before slipping in to a sparkly red number for a book signing in Slough on Saturday, while Peter Andre presented an award at BBC Switch Live at the Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday. After Harvey was rushed to hospital last week, Peter was happy to report on Twitter: "Harvey is ok and out of hospital earlier today. I'm smiling.

The British brand has continually reported a growth in sales throughout the economic downturn and Christopher Bailey, along with CEO Angela Ahrendts, has been a big factor in this. Victoria Works and Gives Around the Clock in London
Victoria Beckham logged another late night at the London offices of 19 Management yesterday. She's been in England for nearly a week, gearing up for multiple TV projects with her manager Simon Fuller while her boys are having fun from the pumpkin patch to dinners with friends back in LA. Victoria got to spend some time with her extended family in England, and, apparently, even extended her sister Louise an early Christmas present by offering her around $80,000 towards her upcoming wedding.

This week's House continued to stick to the tried-and-true show recipe, and our favorite doctor was there pulling the strings — even if he isn't technically in charge. The episode answered one or two of my previous questions, and while the writers quickly tied up the dilemma involving last week's death of the dictator (breathe a collected sigh of relief), I highly doubt that Chase and Foreman's shared secret is just going to be swept under the rug for good.

Stars Shine At The Emmys Show and Behind The Scenes!
The stars arrived looking glam last night, and they were all there to see who would receive the statuettes at the Primetime Emmy Awards! 30 Rock and Mad Men were both big winners last night, taking the top Comedy Series and Drama Series trophies. Kristin Chenoweth was thrilled and tearful as she took to the podium to accept her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award for Pushing Daisies while Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy for her amazing turn in The United States Of Tara.
Announcing the 2009 Emmy Winners!
Well, the Emmys are over, and we have our full list of winners. Were you guys surprised by this year's picks? (Check out all my Emmy polls here.) I thought the show started out pretty unexpectedly when underdogs Kristin Chenoweth and Toni Collete took home trophies, and there were a few other surprises along the way.
