We live in a connected world. It seems like every member of the family has some tie to technology, even the wee ones. Here are some signs:
Your fetus has a domain name.
You choreograph her labor and delivery to an iPod playlist.
Your tot's favorite toy is the DVR remote.
A childhood milestone is becoming part of the mobile "family plan."
Your youngster throws "screen time" tantrums.
Your daughter tells you about her day via Facebook and instant messenger.
You text your husband reminders throughout the day.
You vent to your mom friends on Twitter.
Your babe bobs his head to the beat of your iPhone ring.
You kiddos think all phones have cameras.
Your tot doesn't have an imaginary friend, but a virtual one.
Your son goes to baseball practice on the Wii.
The kids ask Santa for wireless.
Your tweens have Kindles instead of library cards.
Your children love to sit down and get nostalgic scrolling through their baby blog.

It's easy for things to be "even" when a couple just has to worry about themselves, but when children enter the mix usually one parent ends up doing a bit more than the other. In some cases, a lot more. When tending to baby, shuttling the kiddos to school, working, mapping out the family calendar, balancing the finances and sneaking in quality time have all been considered, how do you and your partner balance each other out?

Keep it in the family! While some people believe that you should never do business with family, for others it is a way of life. For generations, mom and pop have brought junior into the fold to keep their businesses flourishing for years to come.

Do your children know which box to check? Many tots learn more about their heritage by doing a fourth grade genealogy project than they would sitting around the dinner table. Some parents make sure their family roots are well known, while others pay little attention to educating their wee ones on their ethnicity.

One of the benefits of the holidays? Family togetherness. One of the drawbacks?

One of my favorite things about the holidays is celebrating old traditions. Baking cookies, sledding, going to the Nutcracker, and ice skating are just a few items many families check off their list. In my family, our Christmas Eve celebration is our most cherished event.

If two's company and three's a crowd, living life in the double digits must be insufferable. In the curious case of Tiger Woods, the golfing great finally admitted to infidelity after two weeks of tabloid rumors and speculation. While marriages are no strangers to affairs, the manner in which the star athlete has allegedly conducted himself during his marriage leaves many dismayed.
