I love watching a cheater squirm. Even better when it's a politician, Oprah's instigating it, and his wife is right there. That's pretty much how it went on Oprah today when she interviewed Elizabeth Edwards about her new book, Resilience: Reflections on the Burdens and Gifts of Facing Life's Adversities, which includes life adversities like dealing with an adulterous husband.

She seems to be handling the John Edwards trouble about as well as she possibly can. She's issued a statement in support of Edwards, though according to the story inside the mag, her friend says she's really having to tough it out.

Elizabeth campaigned for him even while fighting cancer. And, beyond all that the couple lost their eldest son, Wade, to a car accident in 1996.
