Eight might be more babies than many mamas can handle, but for the Southern California woman who just birthed octuplets — it appears she already had her hands full. Recent reports say that the newborn multiples have six older siblings (including one set of twins).
The children and their mother live with the grandparents who are overwhelmed and caring for the young charges while their daughter and the infants remain hospitalized.

The most central characters of FlashForward take a backseat this week, letting Bryce and Aaron take the spotlight. It's a nice relief from Mark and Demetri's constant agonizing over their own fates (though we still get a dose of that, too).
We learn that Bryce has been keeping a big secret, and Aaron's reunion with his daughter isn't all he had expected it to be.

The duo seemed to be riding a roller-coaster of emotion throughout the match, as they cheered, hug, and bit their nails. Salma is hanging out in France taking care of Valentina and her family, but she's due back on the big screen in the coming months.

Known as the buttoned-up and tightly wound kitchen queen on Desperate Housewives, Marcia Cross appears to be quite the opposite when seen about town toting her two tots to the local playground for a swing in the park or a roll in the grass. Though the multitasking mum certainly has her hands full and plenty of mouths to feed in her own home, the drama mama took time out of her Sunday afternoon to dish on motherhood, balancing a career, her fortunate life and how she gives back to the community.
How do you teach your children about giving back?

One of the most convincing arguments for passing the public health plan without abortion coverage is that very few women use insurance to cover abortions to begin with. But if you've heard the statistic that only 13 percent of abortions are billed to insurers, that's not exactly the whole truth.
The Guttmacher Institute, the pro-choice organization responsible for the study the stats were pulled from, contests the 13 percent statistic has been taken out of context and widely used through the media — like, say, in the Wall Street Journal article we linked to yesterday.
