Sticking with the originally planned sailboat-themed nursery for her infant son, Max, Christina Aguilera has shelled out $35,000 on her son’s custom-made 600 square-foot enclave.
“Christina was bubbling over with excitement as she watched it all being brought in,” a spy spills to Star Magazine.

My job is seasonal and conveniently ended for the year when I was about 7 months along, which gave me plenty of time to work on getting the nursery ready for our new arrival. We moved our guest bedroom to another room and took the spare bedroom with the bay window for the little one's nursery. We took out the ugly carpet and replaced it with laminate flooring - relatively inexpensive and easy to clean!

We just moved into our new house (a sprawling foreclosure), so I had free reign with this room! As you can see in the BEFORE photo, the room was dull, dingy, and needed lots of TLC.My goal was to use black & white in a tasteful way to help the baby's visual development. My first choice was stripes around the room - but I figured that might just make the baby dizzy after a while.

We had been using our spare room as a storage room/office for the past two years, but have now started the process of turning it into a nursery for our baby boy, due in February. Step 1 was to empty it out and next week we will begin painting. It's a small, odd shaped room that is pretty narrow, so I don't have a ton of space, but will try to use it wisely.

I had a very hard time deciding what color scheme to go with in here. I just wanted to find some nice bedding and then I went from there. I had initially bought some pink and brown bedding from Carter's, but I did not like the quality of the materials and the pink was a bit on the cool side.

The massacre at Fort Hood last week is the perfect apotheosis of the liberal victimology described in my book "Guilty: Liberal 'Victims' and Their Assault on America." According to witnesses, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan entered a medical facility at Fort Hood, prayed briefly, then shouted "Allahu akbar" before he began gunning down American troops. Now I don't know which to be more afraid of: Muslims or government-run health care systems.
