Nicole Kidman may be an Oscar winner, but she can't escape one of the most common afflictions among pregnant women everywhere.
"I’ve had severe morning sickness," the expectant actress, 40, told Access Hollywood on Monday – when she and husband Keith Urban hit the red carpet at the CMT Awards in Nashville.
Kidman, wearing a figure-hugging red dress that revealed a burgeoning baby bump, also admitted to wondering if the most difficult part is yet to come.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama has burnished his Christian credentials, courted Jewish support and preached outreach toward Muslims. On Friday, his administration will host a group that fits none of the above: America's nonbelievers.
The president isn't expected to make an appearance at the meeting with the Secular Coalition for America or to unveil any new policy as a result of it.

Well, last Thursday I suffered a setback with my neck issues flaring up. I had very limited ROM and severe nerve pain to deal with, along with some strange sickness that was making me dizzy and nauseous for the weekend. Tuesday this week I finally felt good enough to get back to my P90x workouts.

I'm posting 2 columns from the Washington Post that kind of echoes my insistance that something must be done about healthcare in this country because its totally on my mind. My boyfriend got really sick in December and had to stay in the hospital for 4 days and eventually get a surgical biopsy. He is fine, and we are lucky that he works for a small business employer that pays 100% of his health care costs. 4 days in the hospital - 12K. Outpatient surgery $50k. He has doctor's visits and more test to be done - additional thousands. We are lucky he has such good benefits. I, on the other hand, do not. My Fortune 500 company was bought by a Fortune 50 company last year. This year we are on the new health plan for our new employer. If the same thing happened to me I would have to pay 5k out of pocket. If I want to have a baby someday I would have to pay 5k out of pocket. Basically if anything happens to me, since my insurance only covers 80% of any hospital, surgery, or such expense - I would come up to the maximum out of pocket. All while paying 60 bucks a month in premiums. Talk about a major pay decrease! Oh and if I was married my spouse couldn't be covered unless they couldn't get insurance on their own. And how long before all of you out there without the potential for high medical bills are in the same boat? This is the trend if nothing is done. Ok enough rant, the two articles now:
Abandoning health care after the Brown election, and other Washington nonsense

i have a best friend who's a guy. we've kind of had a dramatic relationship over the past 3 years. we started off as friends w/ benefits, then dated briefly, then resumed being friends w/ benefits, and then stopped hooking up completely about 6 months ago, but have remained extremely good friends.

Dear Migraine Sugars,
I'm sorry I haven't updated this page at all in months. I was living my life and dealing with financial and family issues.
I think I may have said in my last post that I went to my follow up appointment for the ONS clinical study in May 2009. At that time, I found out that my ONS device was never turned on and that I was part of the "sugar pill" placebo portion of the study. They needed to see if the knowledge that I merely had the device implanted was enough to trigger my brain to overwhelm the impulse to have an attack.
Uh no it wasn't. Intially, because of the anesthesia and the fact that there was an electrode resting on my occipital nerve in my brain I had minimal migraine attacks but then by March and April I was back to having nearly constant attacks of varying severity.
