An easy way to get healthy this year is resolving to bring your own lunch. By doing so, you know exactly what's going into your meal — not the case when eating out. Even something that seems healthy like a takeout salad can be full of hidden calories.

This is just a pretty simple wrap that is not only great as a post-workout snack, but perfect for a sack lunch. In an effort to get my son to eat less animal products, this is ideal! On Sunday nights, I throw a bag of Boca brand "chicken" nuggets in the oven and then cut each one into fourths and store in the fridge for a week of lunches.

This outfit I wore to lunch at the French Laundry in Yountville with my husband and uncle. I am wearing black skinny pants from BCBG, draped black top from Saks, black boucle jacket and printed scarf from J. Crew.

I plan to brown bag my lunch for Lent. I reserve the right to cheat on rush days, but only once or twice. I aim to save the $7 to $10 I spend daily on weak salads for a fabulous truly fancy dinner post Easter.
