I know it is only a short while before my lil ones come home with bags of treats, so I wanted to try to make my own candy! Epicurious had a great recipe for a frightful version of buckeye candy; traditionally it is a peanut butter ball that is then coated in a thin layer of chocolate. With a little creative dunking and a bag of M&M's, these candies are transformed into a spooky, yet, scrumptious monster eyeball.

Putting Government First
By Chris Reed on 1.19.09 @ 6:07AM
The idea that Democrats care more about the poor and the needy is an enduring American political stereotype -- and one of the party's most potent vote-getting tools. But at least on a rhetorical basis, Democrats certainly do talk the most about the hurting.

When receiving a parcel fm another country (and continent), you have to tell the post office ALL the time what there is in it exactly; in order to make sure that there are no bombs or other things; i.e. it had to be “government friendly”… Whenever you go to the post office they open it in front of you. Should you not know the inside, the chance was low, because they were allowed to confiscate it.
