One of my favorite iPhone features is its camera. It's of impressive quality for a cell phone camera, and has gotten successively better with each generation of iPhone released. Add the plethora of accessories meant to enhance the iPhone's camera and applications to enhance your photos, and my iPhone can produce better photos than my camera.

All things old are new again as vintage gadgets and tech come back with a bang. Since you can already turn your iPhone photos into cool vintage-looking pics in more than a few ways, it's only natural that there would eventually be an iPhone 3GS app that turns your on-the-go videos into retro styled mini movies.
Called the Vintage Video Maker, this $3 app is worth its weight in fun — just capture your video within the app, or load one up that you've already shot, and choose between three old-timey styles: 20's movie, black and white, and 60's home video.

I love learning simple tips and tricks for my iPhone — even if they're things I feel I should have known! File this tip under "Things I wish I knew months ago."
Whether you're reading a ton of emails, in the middle of a very long text conversation or just deeply involved browsing apps, sometimes you find yourself at the bottom of a page having to scroll up, up, up to the top.

It's time for another iPhone tip I wish I'd known about much sooner. Today's revelation: you are able to control the iPod on your iPhone even while the phone is locked.
If your phone is locked but you'd like to listen to music, double click the home button.

I'm starting to think Apple might be reading my mind — every time I find something I don't like about my iPhone, I realize they've already thought of a solution. Similar to learning how to quickly scroll to the top of the screen on my iPhone, I wish I would have known about this quick shortcut months ago.
If you're typing a URL into Safari on your phone, there's a convenient ".com" button on the keyboard — great when the suffix to the site you're trying to visit is .com.

Thanks to reader T S for commenting on my latest iPhone tips post. Turns out, holding your finger down on different keys on the keyboard opens up quite a few options while you're typing. She writes:
You can also type letters with accents by holding your finger on the letter, so if you put your finger on "e" and hold you'll get the option of é, è, ë, etc.

I'm all for embellishments, but check out this decked-out iPod case. The Showstopper iPhone Case ($20) is covered in gold, brown, silver, and gold beads and is the latest in blinged-out accessories.
Are you in love, or is it a little too bedazzled?

Previously covered as a Website of the Day ( http://www.geeksugar.com/3108996), Center'd has launched an iPhone app that brings its local search and planning tools to a mobile device.
Now you can search for romantic restaurants or kid-friendly attractions while you're out and about from your iPhone.

I've been lusting after an iPhone since last summer, when my boyfriend got the 3G and I still had 6 months to go on my contract. By the time my contract was up, I decided to wait it out until the new iPhone was introduced, and that day is FINALLY here :) I ordered the white 16GB phone.
I was the 10th (or so) person to order in my town, so I hope this means I'll be able to skip the long waiting line that will undoubtedly be at the local AT&T, just go in, get my phone (maybe in a shorter line for the pre-orders) and be on my way.
