Um, excuse me! When it comes to burping baby, everybody has an opinion. One mother will tell you to stop mid-feeding to get a burp out, while others let their lil ones wait until the end.

COFFEEIt's the unseasonably cold November of 2008 when I go to New York's Bowery Hotel. There's a young man sitting in the garden, wrapped in about nine black sweaters and wearing a wool hat, smoking cigarettes, sipping a latte the size of his head, and furiously making notes on a script in the bitter cold. I have read about teenage girls lighting themselves on fire in front of his hotel, but at the moment Robert Pattinson is warming his hands on a coffee cup.

TRINIDAD, Texas — It was Christmas Eve 1999, but John Joe Gray wasn't consumed with the holiday spirit. When the car in which he was a passenger was pulled over for speeding by two Texas state troopers near Palestine, in Anderson County, he was packing a loaded handgun in a shoulder holster. He had no permit for it.

Media Malpractice: Tom Brokow's World Implodes
By Jeffrey Lord on 9.15.09 @ 6:08AM
Tom Brokaw.
With the passing of Walter Cronkite, Mr. Brokaw is considered perhaps the new "dean" of journalism. As such the former NBC News anchor is periodically summoned forth to assess the current world, an occasion that presented itself recently on the venerable NBC Sunday newser Meet the Press.

GLAMOUR: So would you like to do musical theater?
SJ: I would love to work on Broadway, but I don’t know that it would manifest itself in musical theater…. I have terrible stage fright that I’d have to get over.

For Interview`s 40th anniversary, cover girl Kristen Stewart was interviewed by celebrated actor Dennis Hopper – who accepted the assignment with a bit of an ulterior motive. "My daughter is your biggest fan, so I thought, `What the hell?` " the actor joked when Stewart admiringly asked why he agreed to conduct the Q&A. The daughter made out too: The Twilight star happily obliged to speak to Hopper`s 6-year-old daughter, Galen.

The underdogs
By Thomas Sowell
It is a good reflection on Americans that they tend to be on the side of the underdog. But it is often hard to tell who is in fact the underdog, or why.
Many years ago, there was a big, lumbering catcher named Ernie Lombardi whose slowness afoot was legendary.
