Chad Michael Murray Says Fiancée 'Makes Me Laugh'

Chad Michael Murray has learned that happiness is someone who makes you laugh – and he wants to pass his message on to all the single women out there.

"To all the girls out there who think being funny is not sexy, you are wrong!" the actor said at Sunday's Teen Choice Awards in L.A.

In fact, the One Tree Hill heartthrob says his current relationship is so successful simply because "she makes me laugh, and we never get bored."

Murray, 26, has been engaged to former One Tree Hill walk-on Kenzie Dalton for a little more than two years. He describes his fiancée as his "best friend [who] supports me and makes me laugh."

"It's not that she's just pretty, she's my buddy," he adds. "I never have actually had a girl who's made me laugh before."

Asked if he and his bride-to-be have set a date for their nuptials, the actor, who was briefly married to his One Tree Hill costar Sophia Bush in 2005, was coy. "I would like to be married someday," he teased. "No, I'm really looking forward to it. I have a really, really great girl in my life right now."

Rosie O'Donnell Laughs Off Split Report

Rosie O'Donnell is laughing off a report in Cindy Adams' New York Post gossip column that she is leaving longtime partner Kelli Carpenter.

"Rosie thinks that Cindy Adams is a lesbian but she doesn’t know it yet," a rep for the former View co-host tells Usmagazine.com.

"She's going to leave Kelli for Cindy Adams," the rep adds.

Adams reported Monday that the pair - who have been with each other since 1997 - "may not be so together anymore."

O'Donnell, 46, and Carpenter, 41, tied the knot in San Francisco in 2004. Together, they're raising adopted children Parker, 13; Chelsea, 11; and Blake, 8.

They also have biological daughter Vivienne Rose, 5.

O'Donnell recently declared she's waiting to remarry Carpenter until "it's legal everywhere."

Cher's Rep Laughs Off Wedding Reports

Plenty of celebrities have said "I do" in quickie Las Vegas weddings, but contrary to a recent tabloid report, Cher is not one of them.

"She's not even in Vegas right now," says the singer's rep, Liz Rosenberg. In May, Cher, 62, began headlining a show at Caesar's Palace, which alternates with Bette Midler's Vegas concert; Cher is currently on hiatus. Adds Rosenberg, "She won't be back in Vegas until August."

Those close to the twice-divorced singer got a kick out of the false report, which named the groom as a 38-year-old Hell's Angel and alleges the couple signed a $600 million pre-nup. Cher's assistant "was laughing hysterically when I asked her," says Rosenberg.

Calling the story "crazy," Rosenberg quipped if Cher did get hitched, "Cher promised me if she ever got married again, I could be the flower girl." http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20211264,00.html

Jennifer Garner Laughs Off Baby Question

Jennifer Garner appreciates her fans – even when they ask the tough questions.

Asked, "When are you going to have another [child]?" during a break in filming This Side of Truth last Friday, the 36-year-old actress laughed off the unexpected query.

"Sometime," she replied. "I don't know. I have to think about that one."

Garner – who was in Lowell, Mass., shooting the flick (costarring Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais) – made sure to spend quality time with fans of all ages. But she paid special attention to her youngest admirers.

"I have to say hi to the girls," she said, heading over to sign autographs for a crowd. She made sure all the children got some face time.

Ben Affleck's other half asked one little girl, "Are you a swimmer?" before revealing, "I was a swimmer when I was your age."

Other young fans asked about daughter Violet, 2. "She's good," replied Garner, who fended off compliments about her appearance with some good-natured modesty. She joked to one admirer: "That's what five hours of hair and makeup will do for you!"

Betty White, 86, brings lots of laughs to the Late Late Show

Former Golden Girl Betty White, 86, was on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson yesterday and her interview made me laugh out loud several times. Her lines were scripted jokes, but she delivered them so well it hardly mattered. I was pretty surprised when I looked up her age for this article, because I assumed she was in her 70s. She looks great and she still has very good comic timing.

White brought out a bunch of receipts in a shoe box and told Ferguson she wanted to get her taxes done before the deadline. Ferguson asked “What about the interview”

White said “What does it matter? You usually just talk about yourself. It’s ‘Blah Blah I’m so funny. Blah blah I had a penis enlargement.’”

Ferguson told her he had a problem with her doing her taxes on the show, and she said “Do you want me to get audited by the IRS? I don’t want them taking me up in their ship and shoving all kinds of weird probes in me.”

Ferguson asked “Is there anyway I can help you get this all finished?”

“What would you know about taxes? You’re an illegal immigrant… To me you’ll always be ‘Craig Ferguson, the dirty French bastard.’”

“Betty, you don’t have to be stressed about your taxes, I got an extension.”

“There you go again about your penis enlargement.”

Craig said they better wrap it up, and Betty asked if she could plug something before she left.

Craig said she’s going to film a Disney movie called The Proposal with Sandra Bullock, and she said that’s true, but “actually I wanted to plug that Will Smith movie, Bad Boys, it’s playing on Showtime right now. And it’s a hell of a lot better than this crap fest.”

“He’s great Will Smith, isn’t he?”

“Yes he is. I’ve never had him.”

Janet Jackson Laughs Off Madonna Rivalry, Gives Drag Janets Advice

Janet Jackson is doing the whole promotional deal with her new album, making the regular circuit of talk shows, magazine covers and in-depth interviews. When chatting with Between The Line News, she was very complimentary when asked about her thoughts on Madonna, saying, "I think she's done wonderful things."

Her explanation of the fan wars between her staunch fans and those of Madonna was as follows, "They're just incredibly loyal and they love you so much that if anyone says anything remotely negative, they're there to just immediately jump on them." However, she dropped any feelings of diplomacy when asked what advice to give a "Janet" drag queen facing one dressed as "Madonna."

"Kick the b*tch's ass!" was Janet's response. I like that--good advice to use for pretty much any situation.

Yummy Yet Healthy Quick Snack

I work out in the afternoons and when I get back home, I like to treat myself with a tasty yet healthy snack. One of my faves is easily prepared and very delicious!
I take Nature's Own Healthy Multi-Grain Sandwich Rounds and cut them into small triangles. I use the triangles and baby carrots to dip in Laughing Cow Light French Onion Dip. Laughing Cow dips are awesome and they are surprisingly low in fat!
If you are counting points like on the Weight Watchers system, this entire snack is only three points! It has a great mixture of whole grains and veggies and it doesn't make me feel groggy or weighted-down after a good workout. I would recommend this healthy snack to anyone!

Helping son's parties no laughing matter

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. - The mother of a 13-year-old boy has been arrested for supplying nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, used during her son's ditch parties at their Lake Elsinore home.

Maria Antonia Mendez was arrested for providing the gas used by the teens to get high. Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Evan Petersen says the teens skipped school and hung out at the home.

Police began investigating the case after a school officer noticed repeated absences of a group of students. Canisters of nitrous oxide were found by deputies serving a search warrant Monday evening.

Investigators say the teenagers filled balloons with the gas and inhaled it.

The sergeant says the 28-year-old mother also participated in the nitrous parties. She was booked for investigation of multiple counts of child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
