J Brand, Love Story...for free!
Hello!
My superfantastic BF gave me a pair of J Brand Love Story's in Ash. I love them but earlier that week I'd actually bought myself a pair of Love Story's in Charcoal.

I've seen double denim cropping up in a few places, like here and here, and I decided that I'd be a little less daring and mix my denims by doing completely different colors. Black denim jeans and a denim jean jacket is about as 'denim on denim' that I'll get --- for now.

J Crew is definitely not a regular shop stop for me, but when I went in last week, I saw this trench and had to have it. I love the high rise collar. It almost reminds me of a toned down version of something Christian from Project Runway would design.

I admit it. I have a completely unhealthy obsession with designer denim (specifically J Brand and Paige). But as my mom and dad taught me to save, earn, and not blow my money in one place I'm a real savvy denim shopper.

frosty (not black) friday
In our cute little town, we celebrate "Frosty Friday" --- all the shops, restaurants and galleries have sales, specials, and stay open late. It's the antithesis to Black Friday. Hubby and I are relaxing today, walking around our fun neighborhood, doing a little shopping, eating, and tonight we're going to see "Dark Side of Oz" which is the Wizard of Oz played to Dark Side of the Moon.

I have always had a morbid fascination with clothes that have holes, tears or any other type of distress. My motto is the more slashes the better, oddly enough. Here is one of my fav "slasher" shirts.
