Sarah Palin may be the Republican vice presidential candidate, but she's also a mom. While juggling jobs, the Governor of Alaska stepped off her campaign bus with her baby, Trig, and was flanked by security as they headed in to an Ohio Walmart to purchase a toy and a pack of Parents’ Choice brand disposable diapers for her lil guy.

This shot of Piper and Trig Palin is about as good as it gets. The big sister had a lil mom spit moment at the Republican convention while her mama was at the podium. Taking good care of her wee brother, the seven-year-old tamed his hair with a quick lick and slick of her hand. Are you guilty of using this trick fix on your tots?

Do Politicians' Personal Lives Matter to You?

Yesterday, Business Insider and Gawker revisited a hot topic from the 2008 presidential election: whether Sarah Palin's baby Trig is, in fact, her baby, or whether Palin's entire pregnancy was staged and Bristol is actually Trig's mother. The "new" evidence presented in the article - photos of Palin shortly before Trig was born where she doesn't look pregnant, Palin's failure to produce a birth certificate for Trig - wasn't conclusive by any means. But if it is true, pulling off such an elaborate hoax during a presidential campaign would definitely have an impact on Palin's future bid for the presidency.

The majority of you aren't interested in presidential sex lives, but politicians' personal lives in general are another story entirely. Do you care whether a politician has cheated on a spouse, lied under oath, or, um, faked a pregnancy for political gain? Are these good indicators of a public figure's character, or are you purely concerned with how a politician governs?

Julianne Moore Is the Latest Liberal to Play Palin

I guess Tina Fey turned them down! Julianne Moore will play Sarah Palin in the upcoming HBO film Game Change. And just like Fey, whose satirical SNL portrayal betrayed opposition to Palin, Moore has a political persuasion that differs from Mama Grizzly. While I doubt it will impact Moore's performance, here are three major issues on which they publicly disagree.

Abortion: Palin's personal life is considered by some an embodiment of the pro-life principles; she decided to have her baby Trig, who has Down syndrome, and she puts her daughter out there as an abstinence advocate, no matter the irony. Moore, on the other hand, is not just a pro-choice citizen but also an activist for reproductive rights. She's long been a vocal supporter of Planned Parenthood and urged Americans to "let it be known that we have a pro-choice majority in this country."

Political Party: Moore has donated to Democrats like John Kerry and Barack Obama, while Palin ran in the number two spot on the Republican ticket in 2008.

Same-Sex Marriage: LGBT straight ally Moore has graced the cover of the Human Rights Campaign Equality magazine, starred as a lesbian in The Kids Are All Right, and wrote a children's book that features a family with two moms. Although the former Alaska governor has previously opposed gay marriage and benefits for same-sex couples, this may be an issue where Palin and Moore can find some common ground. Palin recently retweeted a tweet criticizing Republicans for supporting don't ask, don't tell. Not quite a clear 180, but a suggestion that there's room for agreement.
