Wonder Woman: Kate Winslet

What doesn't kill you, earns you a Best Actress Golden Globe! That is, if you are the incredibly talented Kate Winslet. The star of Revolutionary Road, a must-see for all married moms, also took home the award for best supporting actress for her work in The Reader.

Aside from making incredible movies - Little Children, Titanic, The Life of David Gale, to name a few - the British born beauty is raising two children - Mia, 8, and Joe, 5 - with her husband, director Sam Mendes. At last night's awards, the mum thanked everyone from her costars to her hair and makeup artists. But, she saved the best kudos to her kids for last on both occasions, even mentioning that they were on set during the filming of Revolutionary Road. During her first acceptance, she said:

To my children, Mia and Joe, who are watching this on TV. Look. I won! Thank you for coming on this adventure with mommy.

Congratulations to this down-to-earth mama who piggy backs her kids home from school. We can't wait until her next performance!

Eight Things LilSugar Readers Want to Do in Private

To put on makeup without having to worry about a two-year-old experimenting with the long-wear lipstick or the eye pencils.

To get in the car without having to play the "I got Mom's seatbelt!" game, even once.

To clean the living room without tripping over toy emergency vehicles because said two-year-old took Mom seriously when Mom said the living room was a HAZMAT scene.

Mine is simple. I just want to get dressed without the kid bursting in. I might have to start locking the door, because yesterday when he did it I was facing the closet and he says 'Mom why are you're underwear up your butt? Are they broken?' Triplet Births on the Rise

Serving up three of everything! Scientists in Norway have just concluded a study finding an increase in triplet births, even when artificial means of conception are not used. According to the research, the rate of triplet pregnancies is almost two-and-a-half times higher than it was three decades ago.

The use of hormone drugs that bring on ovulation, such as Clomid, and the increase in maternal age during pregnancy (which increased two-and-a-half years during the study's time frame) are seen as the reason for the dramatic rise in the multiple births. Last year, 80 percent of LilSugar readers expressed concern about the increase in multiples.

The study also found that while the incidence of perinatal death for triplets has decreased almost six percent, the post-birth mortality rate for triplets is 10 times higher than for singleton babies, despite a decrease in infant mortality rates over the past 40 years.

Learning to read means more than just recognizing letters and their sounds on a page. It also involves vocabulary and comprehension of what you are reading. In addition to showing your lil reader how words appear on a page, it is helpful to read them classic chapter books that they can sit back and enjoy. By reading them one chapter a night, mama will teach them about plot and characters and instill a love of storytelling that will last a lifetime. The first time can be a charm . . . for children. Our girl Très is polling her readers about where they lost their virginity and it got me thinking: did the person you lost your virginity to end up being the father of your children? Lots of people used to save sex until marriage so it was a given that a person's "first" would be their coparent, but now that's often not the case. Still, there's always high school sweethearts or couples who reconnect later in life or, as 16 and Pregnant has proved, the chance of getting pregnant the first time. Fill us in!

Vivienne Is Angelina's Daughter and Knox Is Brad's Son

We hadn't seen the Jolie-Pitt twins in quite some time so it's no surprise that once Vivienne and Knox started showing up in Italy, fans of their mom and pop couldn't help but do a double, triple, or quadruple take. People love seeing Hollywood's most famous big brood that also includes Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, 3, as they go on with their jet-setting lives. Lately, the shutterbugs have snapped up plenty of pics of one-year-old members of the Jolie-Pitt family so we asked LilSugar readers to chime in on who the adorable twosome resemble most. The results are in, and 42 percent said that Vivienne is the mirror of her mother and Knox is his father's mini me. Thirty-three percent voted that the tots got more of the Pitt genes. Only time will tell if the duo also got the acting bug.

Birthday Party Book Keepsake

Books with inscriptions make for wonderful gifts, but LilSugar reader schnappycat had an even more inventive idea when it comes to incorporating children's texts in celebrations and building her son's library. Here's what she said:

We do something similar for my son's birthdays. We choose a book that matches the theme of his party and ask the guests to write a greeting inside. It acts as a guest book so we can remember who was there, but it's also a really nice keepsake. I hope to continue this tradition!
