Some parents have their baby names picked out long before they ever meet their spouse. Others stumble upon a name by accident and decide it's a perfect moniker for their tot. However the life–long label is agreed upon, it usually has meaning and purpose behind it.

Jessica Alba chose Honor because it was, well, an honor to have her husband Cash's baby. Baby Levi McConaughey was named after a prophet in the Bible and Harlow Winter Kate Madden was inspired by the famous Hollywood actress Jean Harlow and model Shalom Harlow. While some of them seem a bit bizarre and atypical, they may end up suiting their owner just right.

I'm not buddies with Nicole Kidman or Matthew McConaughey, but I'll admit it's kind of fun learning what they named their children. While Levi was greeted with cheers, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban's moniker was received with mixed emotion. After much curiosity, elated grandfather Antony revealed the meaning behind the babe's name. He told Sydney's Daily Telegraph:

I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John – she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century. . . The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it.

Nicole is a Catholic, and Sunday was an important religious day for her until she was involved in Scientology. She's still bitter about her experience with Scientology and the fact her baby's name could be perceived as one last jab doesn't exactly upset her.

Camila and Matthew Welcome Levi Alves McConaughey!

Heartthrob Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves announced the birth of a baby boy yesterday. According to People, Levi Alves McConaughey met his parents face-to-face on Monday, July 7, at 6:22 p.m.

The proud new father explained the name Levi to OK!:

Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. . . Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'

In reference to the middle name, Matthew said, "We wanted to incorporate her [Camila's] family name."

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Welcome a Baby Girl!

After some hinting around at an imminent delivery on Friday night, People reports country crooner Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman welcomed daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban into their lives this morning in Nashville, TN. The little lass came into the world weighing six pounds and seven ounces. Sunday Rose is the first child between the married couple. Nicole has two children, Isabella (15) and Connor Cruise (13) from her previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for this wee one - a Chanel model in the making or a twangy singer like her daddy? Either way, she's sure to be a precious baby girl. Congratulations to the growing Kidman-Urban family!

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Take Off With Baby Faith and Sunday

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban made their way through LAX with a sleepy Sunday Rose and their youngest, Faith Margaret, today. The jet-setting parents welcomed their second daughter via surrogate in January, though the little one hasn't been spotted out except for in an iPhone picture that Keith shared at the SAG Awards in February. The family got out of town after traveling west to attend Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, where Keith performed "Long Hot Summer" and Nicole wowed on the red carpet in a gown by Dolce & Gabanna. Nicole and Keith have been spending most of their time near their home in Nashville since the arrival of Faith, though they did enjoy an adults-only night out at a hockey game earlier this month. Keith will take the stage once again when he hits the road in June for his Get Closer tour that will take him all around North America this Summer.

Clive Owen reunited with Nicole Kidman on the Northern California set of their HBO miniseries Hemingway and Gellhorn on Monday. They filmed on location in the heart of wine country. Nicole's back in character as Martha Gellhorn, but over the weekend she played the role of supportive, and stunningly beautiful, wife to Keith Urban at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The trip to Las Vegas gave her a break from filming and the opportunity to spend a special day with Sunday Rose at Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. She's been trading lines with Clive in front of the camera for the past few weeks while Keith's been spotted visiting her and their girls, Sunday and new baby Faith, in San Francisco. Despite their hectic schedules Keith recently talked to People about their priorities as parents, "We just have a normal life, we do normal things. . . Family is definitely a priority for us."

Nicole Kidman carried Faith in her arms while Keith Urban followed behind with Sunday Rose at the airport in Australia today. The family of four headed out of town after a brief stay Down Under. Nicole Kidman arrived in Sydney with Sunday and Faith last week, and the trio spent time with family during their trip. They also had an early celebration for Sunday's third birthday, which is on Thursday. Keith had a few days off from his Get Closer World Tour to join his girls overseas, though he'll be back on stage soon with his next show scheduled for his daughter's big day in PA.

Nicole Kidman: Running Is a Family Thing

In the latest issue of British magazine SHE, Nicole Kidman opens up about health and wellness, confessing that running, well, runs in the family. Nicole tells SHE, "It’s what my dad taught us - he’s a marathon runner. He’s 71 and goes on 10-mile runs." Nicole says that her papa also likes to go hiking for hours at a time.

It looks like dad's lesson paid off. Nicole is seen running around town or hitting the gym pretty often - she even went to spinning classes while pregnant with baby Sunday Rose! Nicole must have chosen spinning when she was pregnant because it's easy on the joints.

The actress also gives a little insight into how she maintains that svelte frame of hers - it's genetics! It can be hard to stay healthy when you're on a road trip, something Nicole knows all too well when touring with her hubby, country musician Keith Urban: "As Keith's a musician there are pit stops at Wendy’s, but I’m six-foot tall, so it’s not weight that’s an issue for me, but things like cholesterol."

We imagine that Nicole will be spending a lot of time on the road this week promoting Nine before its Dec. 25 release. Hopefully, she has some tips for staying healthy when eating out. If not, we've got a few to share with her, like splitting a massive sized entrée or having starters as a main course.
