Do You Keep Your Kid's Secrets from Your Spouse?

A friend of mine called the other day and divulged that her five-year-old had blackmailed her into keeping a harmless secret from her husband. Her little one returned home from his first week of kindergarten and announced that he loooooovvvvvveeeesss his new teacher. When his mommy and daddy asked why, he wouldn't say, but later decided to tell his confidential tale to his mom if she promised not to tell anyone in the world (including daddy).

It turned out the secret was that the teacher gave the class cookies during snack time, but junior assumed his parents, who don't like him to eat sugar, would be upset. My friend and I had a good laugh, but she admitted she felt like she couldn't tell her husband because she has promised her son, even though it was a minor thing. Do you keep your child's so-called secrets from your spouse or do you give in and share?

Model Mamas Hit the Runway For Victoria's Secret

Host, shmost! Heidi Klum claimed she was only going to host the always anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but the mama of four made a surprise appearance and walked her hot self down the runway with her tulleriffic attire. Having given birth to her second daughter, Lou, just over a month ago, she left the crowd in shock and awe. Also in attendance on the catwalk? Alessandra Ambrosio. The leggy new mom bared her toned tummy and long stems alongside veteran Klum. The pair certainly left some mums green with envy.

A couple of ladies noticeably absent from the show? Gisele Bündchen, Karolina Kurkova, and Adriana Lima. Gisele is still sporting her adorable baby bump, while the other two glamorous mommies just welcomed their bundles of joy weeks ago. Every mom has an ace in her pocket. When all else fails, we all have a secret weapon we turn to for curing an uncooperative tot. For my daughter it was Elmo; anything and everything red and furry would usually stop her mid-tantrum and return a sweet smile to her face. I always made sure her babysitters knew that if things weren't going well, it was more than OK to give her a quick fix of Elmo's World.

Is Victoria's Secret in the Water? Pregnant Angels

Models of perfection in their diamond encrusted bikinis, lingerie ladies Alessandra Ambrosia and Heidi Klum also make pregnancy look fabulous. The latter even admits to shortening hemlines on her maternity gear to keep her leggy look alive. Either their grace and ease into motherhood inspired their cat-walking cohorts to join the mommy club or Victoria's Secret is that there's a fertility potion in the water from which they all drink. One thing is for sure - the line up for this year's fashion show will look quite different from years past as some of the cherubs will be sporting baby bumps. Or maybe we will all be surprised when the bodacious bellies grace the runways with some sexy maternity lingerie! We mamas can dream anyway.

Kourtney Kardashian Already Prepping Her Belly Bandit

Kourtney Kardashian isn't due until December, but she's already planning how she will get her body back and lose the 30 pounds she's gained during pregnancy. Life & Style reports the tiny reality star is already a fan of the Belly Bandit, a beloved "abdominal compression binder" designed to shrink the stomach after delivery. In fact, Kourtney, who has kept up her exercise regime throughout her pregnancy, is even lending her name to a forthcoming limited edition Belly Bandit.

She told the magazine:

All my friends with kids swear by it and say it’s the product that will get me back to pre-baby shape...It may be hard to do abdominal exercises right after I have the baby, so I’m depending on Belly Bandit to help give me the abdominal and back support I need so I’m ready to exercise as soon as my doctor gives me the okay.

Many pregnant women think that once they give birth, their tummy will snap back into place, so I appreciate Kourtney understands she might need a secret shaper for a while. BabySugar wore her Belly Bandit religiously for the suggested six-week minimum after she gave birth (and looked fabulous!) and can't stop raving about it. What Secret Service Code Name Would You Give Your Kid?

The Obama girls' Secret Service code names have been revealed as falling in line with the long presidential family tradition of having monikers that start with the same letter. Barack and Michelle's older daughter, Malia, 10, is Radiance and her sister, Sasha, 7, is Rosebud. It's not clear what, if any, rhyme or reason there is behind the names, but if you were moving to the White House, what would be fitting code names for your children?

Look Who's Expecting: Tiffani Thiessen and Brady Smith

It looks like the Peach Pitt clan has another baby to add to the brood. Actress Tiffani Thiessen and hubby Brady Smith are expecting their first baby this Spring. Her rep told People:

We are over the moon! It's something we've wanted for a long time and we are thrilled that it's actually happening.

It wasn't that long ago when the mama-to-be chatted about putting motherhood on hold for her career. She said, "I don’t want to spring a pregnancy on a brand new show that I just got on." Well, apparently her secret has sprung and now we'll have to wait and see how they manage her bump into the White Collars story line. Will they work it into her character or hide it away behind bags and pizza boxes?

Moms have another reason to look forward to Mondays as if Jon and Kate Plus 8 isn't already enough. TLC's newest must see is The Secret Life of A Soccer Mom.

Hosted by Tracey Gold of former Growing Pains fame, the show gives stay-at-home moms a chance to pursue their dreams unbeknown to their families.

Last night, the truly talented Adrian Stark, who quit her job at Chanel in Beverly Hills to stay home and raise her three daughters tried her hand at fashion design for the first time in over a decade.

And, the fruits of her labor, a goddess inspired gown was snatched up by an A-list celeb stylist and worn by Jennifer Hudson. To read what happened next, read more.

After confessing to her husband and kids that she had been at the catwalk, Adrian was thrown a curve by the design house and offered her dream job. After some deliberation with her spouse, she accepted.

Last week, former fashion designer turned stay-at-home-mother of three, Adrian Stark seized the opportunity to re-enter the workforce when she was offered a job by Maria Bianca Nero.

But last night it was Jennifer Baalbergen's turn to see what she gave up when she took off her chef's hat to raise two young sons.

After heating up the kitchen at the Los Angeles eatery, Chocolat, the culinary-inclined mama was offered a job at the affluent restaurant. But, she declined the position despite her son's advice after discussing the logistics with her husband.
