Should Pill Popping Parent Pete Wentz Talk About His Use?

All people have their fun or er, habits, but some change their ways once they enter parenthood or become hush about their vices. New papa Pete Wentz was expecting his bundle of joy Bronx when he opened up about his prescription pill popping habits to Blender Magazine. The article said:

Wentz sets his sunglasses on the table and picks up the menu. Truth be told, he doesn’t look great. Dark bags ring his eyes, and his skin has a waxy, jaundiced pallor. He says he sleeps three hours a night-sometimes less-and pops Ambien like Tropical Skittles. “I can take three Xanax bars and not feel a thing,” he says. “It’s kind of scary.”

In nearly every pregnancy-related blockbuster, the audience sees a quick slip of What to Expect When You're Expecting or The Expectant Father. In Knocked Up, Seth Rogen's character buys a stack of pregnancy books and swears he will read them before the birth of his child. On a pregnancy high, many women with child run to their local bookstore or library and take on as much reading material as possible. Whatever she doesn't buy, a friend is sure to send to her.

Pete Wentz told People:

I'm reading a lot of books . . . The biggest one is The Expectant Father. It's a really good one.

Rocker Pete Wentz struck up a conversation with his unborn baby. According to People, the expectant dad has been giving his wife, Ashlee Simpson's belly some lip service. The Fall Out Boy said:

"I talk to it all the time," he told People Saturday at the Ultimate Fighting Championship 86 afterparty in Las Vegas. "The Expectant Father tells you that the woman, when she speaks, the baby hears her all the time. And the father's voice isn't familiar unless you talk to it, so I talk to it all the time."

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Confirm Pregnancy!

According to E!, newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have confirmed that they are expecting a baby. The couple announced their news on FriendsorEnemies. It said:

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," the newlyweds wrote. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

Congratulations to the Simpson-Wentz family!
