By the time my daughter was two she had attended three family funerals. In the years since, more people have passed including her great-grandfather and a preschool classmate. She notices when the phone rings with bad news or someone disappears so I've always told her the truth - that people eventually die. How do you handle death with your children?

Which Canceled HBO Show Will You Miss the Most?

HBO issued a small bit of good news for one of its shows today, and a big dose of bad news for three others: the cable network renewed Enlightened but canceled Hung, How to Make It in America and Bored to Death. All three series just wrapped up their most recent (and now final) seasons - Hung and Bored to Death finished out their third seasons while How to Make It in America just ended its second run. Even though Hung just earned a Golden Globe nomination for star Thomas Jane, the show and its fellow series on the chopping block all suffered from low ratings. HBO will have a slew of newbies in place soon enough, but until then, let's mourn for these dearly departed series. Tell us now: which of these canceled HBO shows will you miss most?

Polaroid's Z340 Instant Camera Comes With a Digital Twist

The success of The Impossible Project has shown that demand for the nostalgia of capturing memories via instant photography is strong. Years ago we mourned Polaroid's decision to stop producing instant film and cameras, but today's announcement that the Z340 Instant Digital Camera is finally available promises to breathe new digital life into one of our favorite mediums.

Polaroid's Z340 Instant Digital Camera ($300) integrates a 14MP digital camera with a ZINK-enabled printer directly in one gadget. The printer uses classic Polaroid-size three-inch by four-inch paper with ZINK's ink-free technology, which embeds the paper with cyan, yellow, and magenta dye crystals. The paper looks like normal white photo paper before printing, but the heat of the camera causes the crystals to activate and print the captured image. Within the camera itself you can choose to print using the basic Polaroid border or download additional photo borders.

The digital aspects of the Z340 include the 2.7-inch LCD screen and the auto saving of photos to the included SD card. Settings can be configured to automatically print each image as it's taken, or store pictures in the camera and wait to print until just the right frame is captured. Use the LCD screen for in-camera editing and cropping before storing or printing photos. Thirty sheet refills of the ZINK three-inch by four-inch paper are $20, a relative bargain considering old Polaroid film packs cost the same for much fewer prints.

George Clooney Gives a Big Hug to Stacy Keibler to Kick Off Their Cabo Vacation!

George Clooney gave his girlfriend Stacy Keibler a big hug Friday when she arrived in Mexico! The couple are south of the border with friends to enjoy a vacation together. George deserves a little rest and relaxation following his whirlwind press tour to support his latest film. George's Ides of March was well reviewed ahead of its opening on Friday, and it earned a respectable second place at the box office, just behind Hugh Jackman's Real Steel. Promoting the film brought George to film festivals in Venice and Toronto and to premieres in both LA and NYC. Stacy turned out for the Hollywood screening, but George was rolling solo when we chatted with him at last Wednesday's Big Apple event. Now George and Stacy are free to get shirtless or throw on a bikini to lounge by the pool. At this time last year, George was in Cabo with then-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. She's not mourning her relationship with George, though. Elisabetta Canalis is dating True Blood's Mehcad Brooks, apparently, and the two were seen on a date last week.
