Most every parent has had a close call with their child. Rolling off the bed, falling down stairs and bumps on the head are common occurrences for many mamas. What isn't so normal is a stroller rolling onto train tracks just as the engine barrels down the rails. Such was the case with the Shweta Verma, the Australian mum whose child fell onto the rails but miraculously survived with just a gash to his noggin. Obviously still shaken by the past events, the mother sat down and chatted with Matt Lauer on the Today Show. This clip is a good reminder to use those safety straps or wheel brakes, especially on an incline.

Star and stunner Angelina Jolie sat down with Matt Lauer to talk about her latest film, Changeling, the true story of Christine Collins, a single mother whose son goes missing and her struggle with authorities after they replace him with another child. The actress initially had her qualms about taking the role, but wanted to tell the tale of the amazing mother. Angelina also talked about falling in love with Brad Pitt and adding to their brood of six.

Ashlee Simpson is giving birth to a new record, but she said only time will tell about a new baby. Promoting her latest CD, Bittersweet World, the singer flashed her engagement ring from fiancé, Pete Wentz on the Today show this morning. And, she remained mum when host Matt Lauer asked her about pregnancy rumors. Ashlee said, "That's been going around for a year now."

It looks like her belly will bare the truth.

Baby Wellness: Steering Clear of Certain Plastics

On the Today Show, Matt Lauer sat down with Dr. Leo Trasande from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine to discuss which plastic bottles families should avoid.

While many bottles are okay to drink from on a one–time basis, others containing bisphenol A can be harmful as they leach chemicals that can affect hormones and reproductive organs in the consumer.
