The 43rd Country Music Awards were on last night and they did not disappoint. Taylor Swift took a jab at Kanye West and Darius Rucker busted onto the country music scene, where he was welcomed with open arms. Keith Urban Said He's "Mr. Mom," Doesn't He Mean Dad?

Michael Keaton made it famous, Lonestar sang about it and Keith Urban recently played the card, but isn't being "Mr. Mom" simply being dad? You don't hear working women say they are "Mrs. Dad" while at the office. Are we, as a society, as laughable as Jack Butler's antics in the 1983 flick? Like many fathers, Keith Urban relishes spending time with his new bundle of joy, two-month-old Sunday Rose. He told CMT Insider:

"When my wife's working and I've got time off, I'm just Mr. Mom during the day, taking care of the little girl," said Urban, 40, who also called fatherhood "beautiful."

Of course, the proud papa is referring to his taking on the primary caretaker role while his wife, Nicole Kidman, is filming a movie, but since when is tending to one's own tot not just considered daddy duty?

Did Nicole Name Her Daughter to Spite Scientology?

I'm not buddies with Nicole Kidman or Matthew McConaughey, but I'll admit it's kind of fun learning what they named their children. While Levi was greeted with cheers, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban's moniker was received with mixed emotion. After much curiosity, elated grandfather Antony revealed the meaning behind the babe's name. He told Sydney's Daily Telegraph:

I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John – she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century. . . The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it.

The Huffington Post wonders if the statuesque beauty didn't pick the name Sunday as an insult to her ex–husband Tom Cruise's religion Scientology. The site quotes a source from MSNBC:

Nicole is a Catholic, and Sunday was an important religious day for her until she was involved in Scientology. She's still bitter about her experience with Scientology and the fact her baby's name could be perceived as one last jab doesn't exactly upset her.

I have a hard time believing the blissful couple would be revengeful when naming their newborn baby. What do you think of the name–jabbing theory?

Camila and Matthew Welcome Levi Alves McConaughey!

Heartthrob Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves announced the birth of a baby boy yesterday. According to People, Levi Alves McConaughey met his parents face-to-face on Monday, July 7, at 6:22 p.m.

The proud new father explained the name Levi to OK!:

Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. . . Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'

In reference to the middle name, Matthew said, "We wanted to incorporate her [Camila's] family name."

Matthew summed up his feelings saying:

We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin'.

Levi shares his birthday with Sunday Rose Kidman Urban - daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Maybe the two tots will grow up teaching each other about surfing and singing.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Welcome a Baby Girl!

After some hinting around at an imminent delivery on Friday night, People reports country crooner Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman welcomed daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban into their lives this morning in Nashville, TN. The little lass came into the world weighing six pounds and seven ounces. Sunday Rose is the first child between the married couple. Nicole has two children, Isabella (15) and Connor Cruise (13) from her previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for this wee one - a Chanel model in the making or a twangy singer like her daddy? Either way, she's sure to be a precious baby girl. Congratulations to the growing Kidman-Urban family!

Ladies' Home Journal: The New Nicole Kidman Is a Woman's Woman

Oscar and Golden Globe-winning actress, producer, and vocalist are just a few things Nicole Kidman can rattle off from her long list of accomplishments. But the role the gorgeous red head relishes most is being a mother and wife in her new hometown of Nashville. As country crooner Keith Urban's partner, she is happy to sit back for a bit and let the spotlight shine brightly on him while she spends the majority of her time raising their young daughter, Sunday. The 42-year-old mother recently took time to sit down with Ladies' Home Journal where she talked about her content lifestyle and her desire to give back to the community.

On living in Nashville:

I love living here. . . . It's a long way from New York and Los Angeles, but that's part of the attraction. I feel protected here, especially now that I have the baby. . . . There are certain limitations to my career because I'm based here. And that's cool. Keith has enormous ambitions, which I support. His tours and albums are much bigger than what I'm doing right now.

On how she cherishes her new life:

I was running from my life, in a way. . . . My imaginary life was better than my flesh-and-blood life. That's a sad thing to say, but it was. Now I love my real life so much it requires an enormous belief in a film to want to take it on. . . . I think that we're in the world to connect. Because that's what you're left with. You're not left with your houses or awards or money, you're left with the people that you built relationships with.

On UNIFEM, a charity she has worked with for years:

It's so they'll [battered women] have a place to call. A lot of women are so terrified; they'll go to the police or court and don't win. We can set up shelters and raise money. . . . I'm constantly trying to find new ways to give back. . . . Women are nurturers. There's so much we can do with the power of our feelings, the power of our sensitivity.

Keith and I have a very honest, profound marriage, which we both contribute to every day. . . . We have a phrase, "Does this contribute to the good of our union?" Because that's what's most important. I love being in love. I believe in the power of love, the way it can heal. The more you keep choosing it - because there are times when you can choose to be angry at the person or to love him - the more it nourishes a family.

Mother of three and a beauty to boot, Nicole Kidman was honored with a Glamour Women of the Year Award on Monday night. In her speech, the Australian beauty made her love for country crooning hubby evident. She said:

Three and a half years ago a man came along and said, "I'm going to take you to Tennessee." And he took me down there and he said, "I think you deserved to be loved. Let me love you, let me give you a home, and let's make a baby." So thank you, Keith Lionel."

As the voice of UNIFEM's Say No To Violence campaign, she is encouraging everyone to log on and sign the petition to help protect women around the world. She believes:

The mother is the heartbeat of the family. And if you take care of her, everyone does well.

The highly anticipated pictures of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's adorable twin babes were released this week. And while Jenny has always been adored for her bootilicious block, her hubbie looked seriously slim outfitted in the photographs.

It spurred a discussion with another Sugar staffer and got me thinking about a couple other celeb mamas who are secure in being a bit bigger or taller than their better halves. In heels, Katie Holmes towers above Tom Cruise and his ex, Nicole Kidman has a pinch of height over Keith Urban.

Despite the physical differences, the trio of stunning women seem confident in their relationships.
