Jan 21 2010 - 9:00am Packing lunch and snacks for school-age children can be a tricky chore. My little school gal loves apples, fruit leathers, and cheese sandwiches one week, and despises them the next. While you can't plan for alterations in their taste buds, you can map out how you will pack the goods.

So clever! I love it!
1My little one is totally going green, and had me purchase a little Hannah Montana food thermos. Now, left over pasta, chicken, you name it can be quickly heated up and put in her new thermos, and voila...a hot and homecooked meal at school! I've also used it for salad, because it keeps it cool. No more juice boxes either! She has a liquid thermos that she totes soy milk, or low sugar juice in! The only trick? Making sure she puts her thermos' in the sink so they can be washed!
