Sep 26 2009 - 6:00am Love 'em or hate 'em, they're everywhere!
Crocs have taken tot toes by storm and are still growing and gaining popularity and not just in America. The Japanese are infatuated with the porous rubber shoes as are other cultures.

Not real ones, I won't pay that much for something they can only wear a few months before they outgrow them. One of my sons has a lot of pairs of knockoffs though, and my daughter really likes them as well. I've found that yard sales are great for them, because they barely show wear, so when one kid outgrows them I can get great deals.
1And FYI, the escalator thing happens MORE often with tennis shoe string and flip flops. And I've never found that Crocs of any variety are slipper when wet, they've always had better traction for us.
2I'm not a croc mom, no.
3my daughter has two pairs and i can barely get her to wear anything else! i personally think they are awful on adults but for children they are great...i love that they are easy to slip on and can be worn with socks when it gets cool...i still think they are pretty ugly but of course think they look adorable on my daughter!
4my son has a pair of crocs that he loves to wear all the time.not a big fan of them, but they have some cute ones out there for kids
5My daughter has the sketchers version of crocs (kinda of a maryjane style) and they are cute on her. I personally would not where crocs or anything similiar but for kids they are great. She loves them...can't get em off her.
6Apparently I'm the odd person out here because I absolutely love them for our whole family! We have the Dawgs versions that vary from flip flop styles to even lined winter boots. Yes, the original of them are pretty ugly, however they are great for in the yard and camping! They are very lightweight and wonderful for young kids learning to put on their own shoes or learning to walk. I will NOT buy them used as they are designed to mould to a person's foot to fit them best. Warning though for anyone who doesn't own any or hasn't had this happen-DO NOT leave them in the sun on a hot deck or anything as they will warp!
7um i have a pair of purple glittery hannah montana crocs..
8i love them
and i get lots and lots of comments on how cute they are and of course laughter when they find out theyre h.m. haha but yep slippery when wet. i also had a giant sliver of multch go thru the bottom once
I think the adult versions are ugly as sin but I wear them almost constantly anyway, because they're best for my feet and back since I'm on the run all day.
The slippery ones, are they the different styles like Mary Janes or something? I have the regular Crocs and they're not remotely slippery.
9Nope, not a croc mom.
10I pretty much absolutely despise how they look. I've never worn them, but i tried them on to give them a chance and I just didn't like how they felt. I'm kind of a flip flop girl or skater shoe kinda girl anyway. The only exception is that they can be soo cute when tiny. I saw a maybe toddler size 2 pair of crocs of some sort, tye-dye, on a itty bitty little girl and omg they were SO cute.
11I think Crocs are absolutely hideous. However, I've been buying the faux sherpa-lined ones for my 4 yr old to wear as house shoes because they're warm and easy for her to put on.
12I wouldn't have bought them for my son, but a cousin got him a pair when he was born and when he finally grew into them I discovered how easy they are! When my arms are full of laundry and he wants to come to the laundry room with me he can put them on himself. They're so much easier than getting socks and shoes on him.
13Also, I find that he doesn't outgrow them like he does regular shoes- they really last a very very long time.
I think they are the ugliest things invented. To each their own.
14My girls have them and love them. My youngest likes to wear hers while she swims. She says they feel funny on her feet but in a good way. I would never wear them.
15they're awesome for kids for sure but they're not the best for kiddies learning to walk
16I think they are ugly as sin and I would not buy them for my kids. That is my opinion. We have no problem finding many other shoes to buy and wear.
17They are awesome for kids and I've seen them look cute on a few stylish moms.
18i love them on kids...and it is great that they can put them on by themselves, it saves so much time when everyone is rushing out the door! also the other day when taking my niece to ballet we put her sisters larger crocs over her ballet shoes and it was perfect to get her to and from!
19I swore my daughter would never wear them, but she got a pair from a family friend and she loved them. She actually cried when we had to store them because she got too big, so we went and got her a cheapie pair. She loves them so much, and it'd be horrible of me to say that she can't wear them because I don't like them.
