I have something I need to get off my chest: Cropped leggings are generally not flattering. Sure, svelte girls can pull them off, but in most cases, they're better left untouched — or for yoga class. I came to this realization because, as you may have noticed, celebrities have been practically living in all types of leggings lately. Long, short, black, shiny, colored, holey — you name it, they've worn it. Take Christina Aguilera and Lauren Conrad: Christina is showing off a black cropped pair, while Lauren is wearing long liquid leggings.

The AMAs Brought Many a Medley and a Few Trophies, Too

After the ladies and men showed off their red carpet styles, they headed into the Nokia Theater for the American Music Awards last night. The show started off with an exciting medley from Christina followed by a performance from the New Kids on the Block that you guys are split on. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and the Jonas Brothers represented the industry's young blood while Coldplay, Kanye, Mariah and Alicia Keys with Queen Latifah were also crowd pleasers. Justin Timberlake played special guest while Miley celebrated her Sweet 16 between awards — check out all the winners here. There were so many great performances to choose from but our favorite act of the night goes to Beyonce, who clearly brought Sasha Fierce to the stage.

The ladies mixed it up with sparkles on the red carpet at last night's American Music Awards — check out how to get some of the looks. Miley Cyrus looked great and is winning for best dressed in her gold and black mini dress on her 16th birthday! Christina quickly walked the red carpet before kicking off the show with her medley of hits while Rihanna found a way to pull off a dress not everyone could. As usual Sarah Silverman kept it casual to support the night's host and her possibly on again boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel. Christina Aguilera Takes Her Price Tag Down a Note

Back in April, I let you know that Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman were preparing to ditch their Steve Hermann-designed Hollywood Hills digs, if a doting buyer were willing to part with a cool $8 million. Well, according to Real Estalker, the couple has flown the coop, but are still sitting on the unsold property. While they've moved into the Osbournes' former abode, their Hermann-designed home, like many houses around the country, remains unsold. So, the couple has decided to chop a little over one million smackers off the asking price, bringing it down to $6.9 million. Ouch, right? Well, actually Aguilera paid $5 million for the property back in '03, so she'll still be making a nice couple mil. on the property — if it sells at this price. Christina and Jordan Take a Time Out Before the AMAs

Christina Aguilera stepped out with her latest favorite lipstick shade and Jordan on her arm after dinner at Osteria Mozza in LA last night. Dates have always been important to the couple, especially now that Christina's schedule has been so busy. This weekend won't be any different as the singer is scheduled to open the American Music Awards on Sunday, performing a six-song medley. Sounds like she's got her hands full, but she and Jordan are still doing their best to sell their home, and have even lowered their asking price to get the process going.
