The winner will be allowed to pick from a selection of toys for children 18 months and older - the Classic Cruiser Fire Truck, Bowling Safari Set, Building Block Choo Choo, Porter the Polite Puppy Plush Book and Rolly-Poly Pull-Along Pup - or a set for tots aged 3 years or older - the Porter Stuffed Chair, Push 'n Learn Alphabet Bus, Way-Cool Wooden Puzzle Set, Perfect Percussion Xylophone, Paco the Pony Plush! Then, to top it all off, babystyle will send a matching selection to the charity of your choice.

One-year-olds are on the move! Whether they are already walking or on the verge, their increased confidence makes them inquisitive of the world around them. When shopping for gifts for tots seek out toys that help them explore their surroundings. Here our some of our favorite picks!

A wooden pull along toy like the Quack Pack Pull Along Toy from Apple Pie that wiggles as the toddler pulls it on its way.
A five-in-one activity cube like the Busy Body Cube from BabyStyle, which features mazes, beads, magnets, clocks and puzzles to keep lil ones entertained for at least a few minutes!
The LeapFrog Fridge DJ introduces numbers, letters and popular children's songs while displaying the characters on its screen. Best of all, it attaches to any magnetic surface, so it can entertain babes while their parents complete kitchen tasks.

Moms are always the best at scouting out a bargain. Spending $10 on a training toilet doesn't seem over the top to me, but I did stumble across a cheaper version. Not only does it cost less, but it rivals the competition with just as many bright colors. Either way, these portable potties are great to keep in the car for emergency use.

Simple: The basic $4 Ikea Potty comes in six colors. Unique to their assortment, they offer a black commode for the urban modern tot.
Swank: The well–known brand Baby Bjorn also manufactures six hues of bright plastic potties for youngsters in training. The $10 pot gets you the brand name, a cute teddy bear logo and smoother surface for the tush.

SuperSize This: Babystyle Lounge Wear

Browsing in Babystyle the other day, my daughter and I came across this darling "Take a Bow" poplin shirt ($14) and matching pants ($14). Sold as separates, but paired together the 100 percent cotton pink pieces are perfect lil lounge wear for around the house or slumber party ready pajamas.

The mandarin collared top with piped details and frog closures is also a showstopper with a pair of jeans on the playground. Or, she can go casual with a tank top and the floral bottoms. The best part? When I brought the items up to the register, they were an additional 50 percent off so this little number ended up being $14 instead of the ensemble's original $46 price tag.

Rattle Alternatives: Shake, Shake, Shake, 'Em!
