Tell Mommy: What Inspired Your Baby's Name?

Most celebrities choose inventive baby names over traditional titles these days, creating a whole generation of wild and unusual appellations. People speculates that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale put ample thought into naming their newborn son Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale.

Zuma is a popular beach in Malibu, where Gwen and Gavin often hang out with their oldest son, Kingston. The beach was also inspiration for Neil Young's album Zuma, so it holds some musical history. Nesta was Bob Marley's middle name as well, so it may be a tribute to the legend. And, of course, Gwen and Gavin are all about rock so Rock seems like a natural fit.

Are Four-Named Babies the Newest Trend?

Trends come in threes or is it fours? Last week's births of Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell's twins, Dolly Rebecca Rose O'Connell and Charlie Tamara Tulip O'Connell, as well as Bristol Palin's baby, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, I think we may be on to something - the four-named child. These new parents aren't the only ones around Hollywood (and Alaska) to jump on the bandwagon. Over the past year we have welcomed Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and Harlow Winter Kate Madden. For many, it is hard enough to pick out two names, I can't imagine having to choose a third!
Will we be seeing more babies with four name monikers in the future?

Hey Baby! Gwen and Gavin Have Another Boy!

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale welcomed a baby boy into the world today, making their oldest son Kingston, 2, a big brother!

People reports the rockers have named their newest bundle Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. He was born at 12:46 p.m. and weighed eight and a half pounds.

Last week, 64 percent of you said you thought Gwen was carrying a girl - looks like Gwen will remain the only lady in the family for now! Congrats to the whole band!
