Adrianne Palicki Shows Off Her New Wonder Woman Costume

Adrianne Palicki sprung into action on the set of Wonder Woman in LA last night. She was showing off a different suit than the one we saw a couple of weeks ago, and the costume was apparently toned down since fans weren't digging all that shiny spandex. Personally, I'm liking this new version much better, though we'll have to wait until next Fall to see Palicki on the small screen (assuming David E. Kelley's pilot is picked up, that is). In the meantime, you can vote on which superhero movie you're most excited to see!

Adrianne Palicki sprang into action on the set of Wonder Woman in Hollywood last night. She looked hot in the classic costume, which has undergone a more modern overhaul. When we got the first glimpse at her new suit, fans weren't loving it, but perhaps this will help convince them. The Friday Night Lights star has a lot to live up to as she takes on the iconic role, but show runner David E. Kelly has complete faith in Adrianne. We were rooting for her last pilot, Lone Star, which met an early demise last year, and we're excited to see both Adrianne and her cute costar James Wolk tackling highly anticipated new pilots.

NBC's Wonder Woman is without a doubt one of the most anticipated up-and-coming pilots to watch for this Fall. I've been keeping my eye on it ever since I first heard about the TV reboot, and most of you were pretty excited to see the final result too. So feast your eyes on this: the first photo of the new Wonder Woman, Adrianne Palicki, in full costume! (Click here to see a bigger version.)

While Linda Carter's Wonder Woman always showed skin (e.g. her signature starred hot pants), this amps up the sex appeal. Palicki is really cinched in (and pushed up) in her spandex. Is it just me, or does it kind of look like a Halloween costume? I was hoping for something a little more fresh, but what's your take on the outfit?

Female Comic Book Characters in Film: Did Hollywood Get It Right?

There's a lot to look forward to if you're a fan of female comic book heroes and villains: the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, X-Men First Class, and Wonder Woman all feature prominent female leads! But, like most comic book fans, you probably have your own idea of who is best suited to play the role. I can already tell you that I am not thrilled with Anne Hathaway being cast as Catwoman. Adrianne Palicki's latest turn on TV may not have lasted long (R.I.P. Lone Star!), but the Friday Night Lights actress is about to burst on to the small screen again in a big way.

Palicki has been cast in the coveted role on NBC's new Wonder Woman. The David E. Kelley series will reportedly follow the DC comic heroine as she tries to balance her superhero fighter persona with her real-life job as a successful corporate exec. The majority of you said you're excited for the reboot, so what do you think - is Palicki a good fit for the Amazonian princess?

If I had an invisible jet, I'd so be on my way to Manhattan to check out this pop-up shop. The SoHo shop-within-a-shop allows people to shop the MAC Wonder Woman collection before it's officially on counters next month, and it's awash in all kinds of fun fangirl geekery. Marisa over at FreshGuide New York was out in chilly Manhattan yesterday, where she snapped these pictures. Wonder Woman Teams Up With MAC, Looks Super

Merciful Minerva! MAC is launching a Wonder Woman cosmetics collection - and judging by this preview, it is going to reach the pinnacle of comic-nerd cool. The tough-as-nails Amazon has inspired a set of bold makeup colors for Diana Prince wannabes, along with Wonder Woman's signature red-and-blue packaging. Expect lip gloss, nail polish, shimmering pigments, and more from this collaboration. (The only thing missing? An invisible jet.) Wonder Woman is one of our favorite fictional feminist icons, so we're looking forward to lassoing these goodies when they hit stores in February. See the whole collection here.
