Brad Pitt and his lil sidekicks, Maddox, 7, and Pax, 4, didn't break a sweat as they made their way to board a water taxi in Venice. The trio kept cool in shades of white with daddy looking dapper in a cream button up and fedora and sons wearing lightweight linen and cotton shirts. While Pax paired his with a pair of white pants, Maddox opted for a black tee and cargos. The threesome looked like they enjoyed their guy time.

Those not willing to pay extra cash on the shutterbug have learned how to use the self-timer mode on their own camera and jump into the shot at the last minute often making their family portraits more realistic and even entertaining. School Year's Resolutions: The Buttoned-Up Classroom Mom

The kids aren't the only ones who need a few items as they head back to school. If you are a mother who plays by the rules, put a little punch into this conservative wardrobe by adding your own splash of color to these buttoned up basics. With a few simple pieces that require little thought during the morning rush, you can mix and match your way to the head of the class.

ECOWEEN: Light It Up in a Fluorescent Suit

Dressing up as an eco-friendly concept can be tough, but this one is sure to light up the face of your wee one and the people passing out treats - a fluorescent light bulb! Shed some light on a cool and growing trend by putting a face in it.

What you will need:

White balloons
White shorts, shirt, and tights
Headband
Safety pins, glue gun or thread and needle

How to get the look:

Blow up about 30 small white balloons.
Take a pencil and draw a cascading spiral design on an old white tee.
For a quick and easy way, use a hot glue gun to secure the balloons to the line. To avoid popping the balloons, make sure you apply the hot glue on the base below the tie off. Or, if you want to keep the shirt glue free, you can stitch the balloons on or pin them on for easy removal. It should look like a spiral of white balloons when all are finally attached.
Take the headband and glue six balloons to it.
Put your child's clothes on including the balloon adorned top.
Place the headband on for the coup de grace.

Mini Me: Tim and Gracie McGraw

We hope the McGraw clan doesn't set their circus down anytime soon. Country vocalist Tim, and his songstress wife, Faith Hill, were spotted on Sunset Boulevard shopping with their three daughters, Gracie, 11 (white shirt), Maggie, 9 (yellow shirt), and Audrey, 6 (pink camo shirt) and a couple of friends. Surrounded by his girls, daddy Tim, who helped remove an obnoxious fan from his concert last week, seemed quite the gentleman.

The cowboy's oldest daughter may not have her father's wild side, but she certainly got his genes. Blessed with the same soulful eyes and sweet smile, Gracie is the 41-year-old singer's carbon copy. And, the preteen may have also inherited the family pipes; She and her sisters sang back up on their dad's track, "Fly Away".

When the urge to wear jean shorts hits a girl, she's just got to go with it. Apparently, Isla was feeling the denim daisy dukes for herself and her mini me, Olive. The two petite red–headed ladies looked quite patriotic all dressed in red, white and blue for a day of shopping in the City of Angels.

The baby's chubbilicious legs were kept under wraps in her floral embroidered denim knickers and paired with a cool red printed shirt. Her auburn locks were tucked under a Baby Gap reversible white floppy hat lined with pink polka dots.

Mini Me: Gavin Rossdale and Kingston

There are exceptions to every rule, and when it comes to family dressing, Gavin Rossdale and his son Kingston are it.

The fashionable father and son brought their star power to the playground over the weekend, wearing army green jackets, white t-shirts, and jeans. The two looked casually cool as they escorted the visibly expectant and glowing Gwen Stefani around the swings and slide.

Taking swigs from a sippy cup and playing with his pacifier, lil lamb Kingston makes being the child of two very down-to-earth international celebrities look like a walk in the park.
