There's no one portrait of motherhood, but the April issue of French Vogue is sure to get people (particularly parents) talking. It features a photo spread of a model portraying a postpartum and pregnant mom. One shot has her smoking and carrying her baby (doll) in a basket while another has the infant airborne.

There's hardly a more exciting time in someone's life than when they discover they are willfully pregnant. Most mamas-to-be want to scream it from the mountain tops but there's usually one ear they'd like to shield — their boss's. Many women try to hide their expectant status until it is blatantly obvious to co-workers and their higher-ups because they don't know how their news will be received.

Six years after introducing her maternity line to the masses through her collaboration with Target, Liz Lange is debuting more beautiful duds to flatter burgeoning bellies.
The Brown University grad and former Vogue editor, is relaunching her high-end line of maternity fashions after taking a year-long hiatus to reassess her business.

Women of all different shapes and sizes gain varying amounts of weight when expecting. Milla Jovovich wrote on her official site that she gained nearly 70 pounds in the first seven months of pregnancy. Kate Hudson also gained about the same amount of weight during her pregnancy with Ryder.

I've learned simple arts and crafts projects can delight my children more than any fancy toys or videos. Color pencils are a superb tool for aspiring artists who have graduated from crayon use, but haven't started reading and writing yet. They are sturdy and allow lil ones to get used to the feeling of holding a pencil or pen for future handwriting, but will help create pretty pictures.

Life may be fiestas and fun now for actress Gwyneth Paltrow, but in the May issue of Vogue, the starlet opened up about suffering from postpartum depression after son, Moses, 2 was born.
She said: "I felt really out of my body," Paltrow says after giving birth. "I felt really disconnected.
