Sugardaddy: Dave Grohl Rocks My World

Rock stars often have inexplicable sex appeal. Maybe it's they way they jam on the guitar or toss their tousled hair from side to side, but for me Dave Grohl's appeal is directly linked to the father factor - how adorable he is with his 21–month–old daughter, Violet Maye.

Quite the family man, he and wife Jordyn Blum, are often seen hanging out at the park and farmer's market with their wee one.

The rocker, who just turned 39 this week, doesn't show his age a bit. This is surprising since the hard worker has been a musician and songwriter for more than half of his life.

To see why I have a crush on this Sugardaddy, just read more. Grohl got his start with the band, Scream before he hammered away on the drums for the grunge groundbreaking, Nirvana. After Kurt Cobain's death, Grohl formed the Foo Fighters and soaked up the spotlight as lead singer and guitarist. He also collaborated with musical stars from various genres, including actor Jack Black and his band, Tenacious D. Aside from taking darling Violet out for jaunts around town, this sweet daddy also finds time to help strangers in need. According to the BBC, in 2006 Grohl made good on a promise he made to two miners in Australia. After hearing that the trapped miners who had been involved in an accident wanted an MP3 player loaded with Foo Fighters music to keep them company, Grohl sent an email that said,

"Though I'm halfway around the world right now, my heart is with you both, and I want you to know that when you come home, there's two tickets to any Foos show, anywhere, and two cold beers waiting for yous. Deal? Looking forward to sharing them with you . . . Come home safe, and we'll see you soon. Dave Grohl.""

The miners survived and took Grohl up on his offer. Sounds Iike he gives the best, the best, the best, the best of himself.

Jennifer Garner Takes Her Two Little Holiday Elves Around LA

Jennifer Garner spent her Friday afternoon taking care of business with her daughters Violet and Seraphina around LA. Seraphina helped mom put money in the parking meter when they went out to breakfast, and later in the day the two dropped Violet off at her karate class. The weather may not be wintry, but Seraphina was decked out in her festive sweater to spread the holiday cheer. Jennifer took care of some Christmas shopping without her girls earlier in the week, perhaps picking up goodies for the two cuties. Husband Ben Affleck is working on his next directorial project, Argo, which he also stars in. He makes sure to spend any free time with his three main ladies, and soon the Garner-Afflecks will be welcoming a new addition, though they've yet to reveal if it's a baby girl or boy to make it a party of five.

The Five-Year Engagement Trailer: Segel and Blunt Can't Get to the Altar

The trailer for The Five-Year Engagement has so much going for it that I'm almost afraid to jinx it. First, we've got Jason Segel and Emily Blunt as Tom and Violet, an adorable, engaged couple that are continually delaying their wedding date when other life matters (like job relocation) get in the way. Secondly, there's a promising supporting cast that includes Chris Pratt as Tom's BFF and Alison Brie as Violet's little sister. Third, the trailer has plenty of laugh-out-loud moments but still seems like a relatable romantic comedy.

My only complaint is that the trailer may give away too much, but I'm already a fan of the main characters; Tom is a lot like How I Met Your Mother's Marshall (a lovable, fun-loving kinda guy) and it's refreshing to see Blunt letting loose and showing her goofy side. Ben Affleck Gives Jennifer Garner a Kiss and Celebrates Violet's 6th

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, and their daughter Violet spent a lovely afternoon together stopping for lunch and a trip to the post office in Santa Monica yesterday. There are countless ways to keep Fall fashion from "falling" flat and Fab reader AdamAlexMommy nailed a whole bunch of 'em. While you may not be able to see what she's hiding underneath that gorgeous violet-hued empire waistcoat of hers, we're completely taken with the bright impact of purple on top.
